Loved it! Loved that they have a 'normal' relationship where everything isn't super great all the time, and I espevcially loved the scene in the parking lot. Hopefully we'll see something similar SOON!
Author's Response:
Oh McGigi. I hope so too. And I'm sure they'll bicker and be annoyed even when they are together.
I am more hopeful than ever that we'll actually get to see it happen onscreen. I'm glad you liked it!

Now that's a parking lot scene I could get behind! Sigh...we'll get there someday, right?
Author's Response:
Boof If I have anything to say about it - we absolutely will.
Then again - I'm not sure I have anything to say about it!! :( LOL! But I'm extremely hopeful!!

Awwww. Sappy goodness ;)
Author's Response: My specialty. ;) Thanks so much for the review!

I love this so much. Future!Pam is a smart girl, focusing on what really matters like that.
Author's Response:
Hopefully - one day she gets there "for real." ;)
Thanks Semby!

If only....

I'm needing all the positive JAM I can get, seriously. Thanks for writing this.
Author's Response: You and me both. :) You're very welcome.

LOVE IT
Author's Response:
THANKS!!

I was sad too. But not anymore!
Author's Response: Yay!!! Glad I could help!!

Aaah, bless you for writing this. I had a non-Office watching friend watching with me last night, and she couldn't figure out why I was so heartbroken after the episode. This was very nice (and very needed) fluff! And I just have to keep telling myself that I WILL get through this, haha!
Author's Response:
That's tough. Watching with someone who doesn't understand. I'm glad I could help you out. :)
Date: November 17, 2006 03:38 pm Title: Remembering....
I love you for writing this. I was crying last night because of everything, and now I'm crying tonight because of this, but I'm also smiling! Thank you.
We just have to recite our mantra. They will be together. They will be together.
Thank you, again, for making the day brighter. A tv show shouldn't do this to us! Damn that Greg Daniels for creating something so magical.
Author's Response:
Crying bad. Crying and smiling? Good!!
Yes they will.
Seriously. It's times like these I wish they were all less talented. ;)

Yes, a lot of us needed this. I love the long list of Pam's shouldas. Yes, she should have. All of them!
Author's Response: At least she finally said it. Now "real" Pam's gotta do the same thing.

Have you seen pictures of people who go to the optometrist and they have these glasses on that have some writing that is attached about 6 inches out from the glasses - well, I am going to get a pair like that and I am going to attach this story to those glasses and I will be in my own fanfic heaven/haven till my broken heart mends. Thanks for this sweet beginning. You always come through...
Author's Response:
Dear sweet kaystar - I have to say I have not. But the idea of you running around wearing my story 6 inches from your face makes me giggle.

Ooooo, so good. Thank you so much for providing resolution to the angst. I know I can always count on you! :)
I loved this passage: "She doesn't know when exactly she decides to just be honest - but she does. And it's scary, scarier than she'd ever dreamed it would be. Still it's a good scary. The best scary."
Yes, good scary! Go Pam! :)
Author's Response:
It's not what I started last night. That was Pam in her car kicking herself.
Not saying she didn't do just that - it's just not the story that would help me most at the moment. ;)
Glad you view me as dependable. :) You're very welcome.

Oh. my. goodness. This is just what the doctor ordered after last night's episode!
Thank you for writing this. Everything about it was absolutely perfect. I loved the realistic future you gave them. Not perfect, but real. From future Jim pissing off Pam, to future Pam getting angry and forcing herself to remember their past... to the beautifully done flashback scene.
This story was just absolutely beautiful. And it's going in my favorites, right now.
Author's Response:
Now you're making me weepy again. Sniff sniff.
Thank you. Truly. I'm so very glad you liked it.

Awww... happily ever after JAM. See, what's so hard about that? I'm sad too... and a little mad...
Author's Response:
I dunno. I think it's cake. Someone let Greg Daniels in on the secret please. ;) Here's hoping the holidays will bring good cheer.
Or that Meredith brings lots of alcohol. 'Cause I'm gonna need it. ;)

OMG -- I LOVE this line: And she remembers that every single time they'd been there alone she was lying.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for taking the time and effort and diving into the angst a bit today to give us this. It's going to be a long 2 weeks....
Author's Response:
Hee! Now that I read that line - I hope it's clear it refers to every time but the LAST TIME. heehee.
You are most welcome. It's my pleasure. :)

What a wonderful painkiller - and not even narcotic! SO sweet. Babies. Oreos. Kisses. Office-world set back on its proper orbit.
Nothing in this room seems at all disposable to her. Somehow, that line just seemed to sum up much of what Pam should be feeling about Jim...and in your story she already does.
Thanks for this lovely reprieve from angst. It's nuts, I tell you - supposed to be a comedy!
Author's Response:
That's me. You're friendly neighborhood fluff pusher. ;)
I know!!! I was too busy trying to put my heart back in my chest to be able laugh on first viewing. :( It was not so much a roller coaster as one of those Free Fall rides. You're sitting on top of the world and then the bottom falls out and your heart drops to your stomach.
Sigh.
Author's Response: edited to say...That's YOUR friendly neighborhood fluff pusher. Perhaps I should keep myself from sampling my own stash and maybe I can pick the correct homophone.

Ah! Thank you for this lovely, fluffy piece of goodness. I really needed it.
Author's Response:
I know I needed it. Glad it helped you too!! Thanks!
Date: November 17, 2006 12:32 pm Title: Remembering....
Oooooh. You did it! You gave me hope! And babies! Well, no, you didn't give me babies, but...hee.
I hope this was as therapeutic to write as it was to read. *hugs* We'll be OK. If we lasted last summer, we can get through this.
Author's Response:
Sorta babies. I can't help myself. Seriously.
I'm better now. Just last night....OUCH.
Date: November 17, 2006 12:32 pm Title: Remembering....
thank you for that after my heart was broken last night.
Author's Response: My pleasure. I felt it was my civic duty. ;)
Date: November 17, 2006 12:27 pm Title: Remembering....
Thanks, I needed to read something like this. Perfect.
Author's Response: You're welcome!!

She's on a cliff, peering over the edge. She stumbles, loses her balance and begins to fall. Except it strangely feels almost like flying.
I'm probably not the only person to quote those lines, but they're really good.
I like this, because it would be so easy to forget and begin to take things for granted. Very nice.
Author's Response:
You are the first - and so far - the only.
I wanted fluff - but contemplative fluff. :) Thanks Shan!
Date: November 17, 2006 12:25 pm Title: Remembering....
Bless your fluffy heart xoxoxo. Where have you been all day?! I know I can always rely on you to make me feel better!
Author's Response: Where have I been? Ummm. Writing this??? :)

perfect! the parking lot scene was incredibly good.
Author's Response: I'm glad you like it!!! (and LOL at your screen name! - that's great!) :)
