ugh lovefool. you're so good. i loved this chapter, i snorted a few times. but i need to review "she: a lesson in pronouns." oh my god, it just about killed me. and i don't know how i hadn't reviewed it yet, i could've sworn i did, but i'm terrible at reviewing... but anyway, the end? kills me every time. i was at work the other day, and actually pulled out my phone to read something, somehow found myself at this chapter. i just love it so much. bravo, keep adding to this forever. nbc needs to consult you!

Cute! I can't wait until Thursday!
Author's Response: Me neither! ME NEITHER!

sorry i haven't reviewed in a while, i decided to choose reading them all and no reviewing, versus reviews on all, and not finishing.
anyway, i love how we're really seeing jill grow up, and what great parents jim and pam are. i especially liked reading the chapter about lauren-elisabeth, it was so creative to do something from her point of view.
and lastly, as always, your writing is so fluid and seamless, it's delightful to just read what's going on in your idea of their life.
great job lovefool, and i must admit i was singing that song for about half and hour today! update soon!
Author's Response: Aw, thanks so much Pamelamorganhalpert. Thank you for taking the time to read for so long and now reviewing as well, it means a lot to me. Jim and Pam and their little family has been such an exciting thing for me to write. I'm glad I could entertain you.

This was one of my favorite chapters - and that's saying a lot. It's uncanny how you captured each character - and that last bit was perfect. So funny and spot on, and in so few words.
Early in this series, I remember thinking: we'll never see scenes of them married, preg, with a baby, etc....so thank god for Lovefool! Little do those writers on the show know what a tough act they have to follow ;-)
Author's Response: Aw, Miss C I'm so happy you thought so highly of this chapter! It was definitely some of the most fun I've had writing. I can NOT wait to see what happens this season!

LMAO Malia and Sasha, Jim and Pam being racists, Angela upset her cat's have been left out. That was a really funny chapter - just sad to Jill was in it, but it's ok, you made it up to us :)
Author's Response: Yeah I think this might be the first chapter that Jill wasn't in! I can't believe it either...I'm happy you thought I made up for it though!

Ahhh! Yay I'm so glad you updated, I'm a big fan of this fic. Loved this chapter, it's so real and true to the show :)
Also I'd like you to know I love how long your chapters are...the longer the better in my opinion, haha.
Author's Response: Wow, thanks for the compliment on chapter length! As a reader I like to sink my teeth into something a bit longer too.....um -- twss? -- so bad.

Another awesome chapter. The whole parenting of Michael gets stickier now that Jim and Pam are parents, and it's so entertaining to read your take on it. This made me laugh out loud: "And if I can't shower with Pam, then I don't want to shower at all," Michael finished throwing up his hands."
I also loved that you didn't label that one talking head about the quilt as Creed, but I knew it was Creed anyway. And the ending was so perfectly in character.
Author's Response: hahaha, you pulled out my favorite Michael line, I must say.lol. I think I wrote that section first and it set the tone for everything! lol. Glad you were able to tell what was Creed too! Thanks for being such an awesome reader and reviewer, Jazz.

Please don't have them name the baby Malia. Or have a 'wet' shower. But, Michael's pretty sweet, if not weird!
Author's Response: LMAO...no worries, the baby's name will not be Malia. They might have a wet shower next time though- ROFL

Okay. I'm officially freaked out.
I was honestly just re-reading this story randomly of my own accord, finished writing my review, making some kind of half joking comment about you possibly updating and BAM here it is. Psychic much? Woah. One of us must have magic powers. I'm thinking maybe you...?
Anyway, this has to be the most heart warming description of pregnancy I've ever read:
"Ok, well um...just...imagine you get to carry your mom or Holly around with you all day long and they just always stay with you all the time...really close...so close that they don't even feel separate from you at all, but just like - another part of you...but a part that makes you feel so warm inside...and full...That's what it feels like."
Made me almost want to be pregnant. Almost. ;)
And then you finish in style:
"I think I do kind of like Malia actually."
"No you don't," Pam said.
"No, I don't."
Nice work, LoveFool, nice work :)
Author's Response: Hahah! That is totally freaky right? That I updated right when you were asking when I would update...CRAZY. So glad I could get it done so quickly for ya! ha. I've never been pregnant, so I'm happy that description rang true for you.

Oh my, I realised I hadn't reviewed this story even though it's one of my absolute favourites. But since it's Halpert baby/wedding central at the moment, I had this sudden urge to re-read. And goodness me, it hasn't lessened in awesomeness.
It suddenly occurred to me that the way I always imagined this family is based purely on your depiction, it's so perfect. This family is so cute together and I really hope we get some scenes like these in the future. My fav chapters have to be the letters though, they're so adorable. Just like Jill. Such a cutie.
You are the Queen of Babyfic and you write Pam and Jim as the Mommy and Daddy they should be. And the thought of that makes me all warm and fuzzy. There I said it. I feel much better now.
Any plans for another update? :)
Author's Response: Aw, thanks for taking the time to review MilkandSugar. I'm so glad I could paint a realistic picture of the Halpert fam, for you! They defninitely make me all warm and fuzzy too!

aww. and i had that same ballerina jewelry box. actually i still have it.

one thing: you never ever ever EVER put a baby on a couch unattended. that's just a fall waiting to happen. and considering that little jill was mobile by then, having her out of a crib is another recipe for disaster.
other than that, this was perfect!

oh my damn. that was amazing.
and for some reason, the mention of ducks reminded me of something. rainn wilson's son walter calls ducks "water chickens." he twittered that a few months ago. rainn twittered, not walter. he's only 5.

BAHAHAHAHA the "beet farm" story! brilliant!
the chocolate pudding bribe... also brilliant.
and jim wanting to push the boy baby out of his stroller for checking his little girl out... nice.

ugh! lovefool, this is probably the cutest and most perfect story i've ever read! summer hiatus has driven me crazy and this chapter was JUST what i needed.
thanks and keep them coming! :)

Gah! How much do I want Pam & Jim to have a girl? (Girl babies are the best. I oughta know, I have two, and daddies playing with girl babies are super adorable and hilarious. Made of win, this is, LF ;o)

I very much liked your "unsure" Jim. A nice change of pace and a Dwight was perfect as the person who introduces the age old question of "didn't you want a son?" to a father with girls.

Lovefool, I can picture Jim being just like this. What a sweet family--disagreements and all. Excellent job.
Date: July 26, 2009 10:48 am Title: Labor Relations
I love this story... It's exactly how I picture Jim being as a dad - funny and loving and even frustrated sometimes too - just like a real parent. Keep adding more chapters! Thanks

Very sweet chapter. I know Dads can't help but have a special bond with their daughters. You made me think why did I love mine so much.

Oh my. Not only do you write Daddy!Jim very well, but GirlDaddy!Jim? Priceless. Wonderful as always!
