i've already said over and over again how much i love this story, but i say it again. it was FRICKIN' AWESOME! of course i knew it was pam, but it was told beautifully. so in love with them, and i love that she just put herself out there, risked her all to tell him how she felt. i LOVED the jim journals.. very very very sweet.. i loved it all.. *sigh*... i think i'm gonna go read it again..

wow. just WOW. (said jim-style, with facial expressions included). I've been dying for this last chapter and you delivered and then some (you DID have a lot to write!). so thanks. this has been such a great story with SO much creativity throughout the whole thing, thoughtfulness and attention to detail and great writing. It really was just so much fun to read this, and totally enrapturing. it had me checking my email for update alerts all thru the holidays and beyond. I love how you brought everything full circle, wrapped up all the plot lines (i was getting worried that Pam's mysterious trip to harrisburg and philly would go unexplained) and the ending with the ring was perfect - that moment when you know you are totally in it for the long haul but you have no idea what that long haul will be like? Scary and intense and amazing and i think you really captured that. Such a good story. Thank you for this!!!

I'm only saying this because you promised you have thick skin...The beginning was great, it went smoothly along with the rest of the story...but the middle, when they first got to the hotel I thought was long-winded and boring. I know you had to explain how Pam figured all of this out, but having it all in dialouge just didnt fit right...but the ending was great, right back with the rest. It was a lovely story and incredibly long...im very impressed
oh, and another thing that bugged me (sorry, im so awful...hate me please) Pam wore a long sleeve dress...maybe I just couldnt picture it right because I'm a dumb teenager but I just didnt like it
but I loved your story I promise!! really I did!!

Ah yay. I really liked the conclusion to this story. I was hoping it would be her plan; otherwise, it might have been slightly unsettling. So glad they were so in lurve!
By the way, "Vous et Nul Autre" is perfectly acceptable French, if an older expression you see more in novels than in real life.

EEEEEE! Seriously, it's 10:38 pm, the end of a very long day, and I was reading fanfic thinking it'd usher me nicely into sleep...then you just write this -- this-- chapter that leaves me giddy and bouncy. (Note to self: This is fiction; it is not, in fact, happening to you.)
Even though I suspected that it just had to be Pam all along, you somehow managed to surprise me anyway -- I'd been wondering if you'd have some bizarre twist wherein it was a long lost girlfriend of his destined for heartache or something. Love it that you made it true to the story -- Pam.
Slapped my hand over my mouth more than once as I was reading this, BTW.
So I'm not trying to be pushy or anything, but, uh, Valentine's Day is less than a month away. Just saying - you know, in case you didn't realize. :oD

Okay - love the banter; love the anticipation. Your description of the work day and their plans actually reminded me of my early days with Mr. Girl7, which is a testament to how well you capture that early giddiness when it's all new.
And uh, yeah, shower scene, then after dinner.... I hosted and attended many a slumber party as girl, but I don't remember one ever being like this. :o)

I am honestly not sure I have the words to describe how amazing this entire story has been. The premise was fantastic and the slow build to the end was breathtaking. You had me in tears when Pam revealed the diaries to Jim and the gift of the ring was just the perfect ending. Thank you for sharing this amazing gift with us.

Wow. Just wow. I'm not sure if I really have the words to explain how amazing this story was. The length of the chapter was perfect. I absolutely loved that Pam had the ring- so sweet and definitely made the story come to a complete, full-circle end. Beautifully done.
One thing though- its been years since I took French, but "Vous et nul autre" I'm pretty sure is incorrectly translated. Its either "Vous et rien d'autre" or "Toi et rien d'autre" (the nul, I'm almost certain is incorrect) Vous is the equivalent of "You" plural, and "Toi" is "you" singular.
Either way, your story was amazing, you it is extremely apparent that you have put your whole being into it. Congratulations on an amazing, poignant Jim/Pam story.

Brava my dear. Seriously - quite the undertaking and you pulled it off brilliantly.
I had a tough time equating the 12 Days - but your gifts were just so creative and PERFECT. I love the fact that Pam made such grand gestures - I love that she has friends who helped her do it. I love the idea of them dressed up all fancy (with Jim in his sneakers!!!) and finally, FINALLY being together.
Just perfect. Thank you so much. And never apologize for your epic-ity. (Yes. That is a word - I said so!) Lengthy stories just give us more to love!!
