Wonderful. And I got a little laugh out of your ending line, because judging from the rest of the piece, you wouldn't think "big sombreros" would go with it, but it really fits right in. I don't know how you did that, but great job. :)

This is so beautiful. It's like a tiny pebble that has been rubbed smooth and sparkling by the stream- nothing left but what is pure and whole.

That was just beautiful, until the last line that was so funny that it kinda reminded me that that's probably what it will be like for them the first time.

SIGH. This is just lovely. So much said so simply. It's a true gift to do that. Thank you for sharing it.

Making something this elegantly written so hot and emotional is quite a feat. He says her name against her skin, like some sort of plea for her to really let this happen...Jim's intense longing for her right there in one sentence. Perfect last line too. Just stunning.

Love the moment you create in your first paragraph, particularly the light and the snow. Very insular.

Oh, you and your words! Stop being so amazing.

I love everything about this, especially what Pam says to Jim. It's just amazing how the only spoken line in the entire story just says everything. It gave me chills.

Wow -- The first paragraph made my heart flip three times. So simple, but intense and real. Well done!

You said the mood so well. I am so impressed how much you can convey with so few words. I love the mirroring of what Jim said to her in GWH with “You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for you to lean over my desk again.”
