I've never been much of a Karen fan, and your story is just making me hate her all the more. LOL Seriously, though, you've really done an excellent job on this. I love how you write Jim particularly, especially in this part:
“Right,” he said. Are you sure you’re okay? he wanted to say. Do you want me to come over? he wanted to say. Call me if you need anything, he wanted to say. Instead he said, “Well, I’ll see you on Monday then. Have a good weekend.”
That paragraph really got to me; the repetition was brilliant. Throughout season 3, Jim has sort of been dancing around what he truly wants to say to Pam, and you really captured that in that paragraph, with him always wanting to say something, but instead he says something else. That's so perfect. Great job! But anyway, I'm dying to read more! I'll keep an eye out for another chapter and until then, keep up the amazing work! :)
P.S. Be honest now: just how excited are you for Harry Potter book 7?! :)

Really looking forward to the next chapter. Karen's discussion with Michael is great; I can really "hear" his side of the conversation. I love bringing back the stripper and Ben Franklin.

This is really well done. You did a nice job of keeping Karen on that justifiably-pissed-but-evil line. Also, Pam was really sweet and in character. I can't wait to read more!
