I love this story. So far I'm not having any trouble knowing what is a letter and what isn't, but italics would probably be clearer than double spacing.

Author's Response: Yeah. I'll probably switch over to italics at some point. Thanks for the review! Glad you like it!

Me again.  I invoked Marsha and your story in my review of Girly-Girl chapter 45 (I think). Thought I should tell you!

Author's Response: Wow, really? I feel famous now. *scurries off to check it out*

Aww. Poor Pam. And I can't believe Marsha got up the nerve to call (even if she did hang up)! Man, I'm hoping that someday Marsha just leaves a file with all the letters on Jim's desk. Hmm. But how would she explain that it wasn't Pam leaving them?

I'm really enjoying this story. However you envision it continuing, I'm definitely along for the ride!

Author's Response:

Don't worry. There is a plan. And if I do say so myself, it's a pretty good one. Or at least, I think it's good, which probably means it's crap, but whatever because it's my story so I get to do whatever I want with it.

In the meantime, I'm glad you're enjoying it! Thanks for the review!

Azlin I'm really liking this and I can't wait to see where you're headed with this!  If you ever need a beta you can always contact me!  :) So now I"ll just sit here and wait........

 *patiently awaiting more*

Author's Response: Seriously? Because I'll definitely be taking you up on that offer. Beta's are my new favorite thing in the whole world. Glad you're liking it!

I love this.  If I had beta'd it, I wouldn't have found anything wrong.  It's perfect (much like Kelly in the Dumpster).  I'm perfectly happy at the pace of the story.

(Ooh, I just found something.  Is the post it there or not?  You don't say.  It's not an error, or anything, but just something people (well, I) might wonder about.)

I love Pam's letters.  I do wonder what Marsha might do.  How can she find out whether Jim would welcome the letters?  Hmm.  I await further information.  (Doesn't that sound like something Dwight might say?)

Any clues in Jim's trash?  Karen's?

Author's Response:

You know, I should've caught that about the post-it. But now that I think about it, and since I don't think I'll mention it in later chapters, here's what happened: Since the post-it is so old, the sticky part wasn't sticky anymore, and so the post-it got mixed in with everything else in Pam's garbage and Marsha didn't think it was anything important when she was going through Pam's trash looking for letters so now the post-it is gone forever. The end.

As for everything else, you'll just have to wait and see. I like the speculation, though, it encouages me to try to keep surprising you. So stay tuned.

Um, yeah, so as a joke, I started a countdown clock until Thursday night. And then i just left it up. So, I think I am rather pathetic for knowing that as of this writing, it is exactly 113319 seconds (give to take a commercial) until the start of the new episode.
I didn't notice the lack of a beta, so thats good.
And I really enjoyed this chapter, because it was a very good outsiders view of The Office as a whole, with Karen involved, and the mention of Kevin.
I am enjoying this story, and I can't wait to see where it goes

Author's Response:

That's sooo cool! I wish I was that technically savvy. And you're not at all pathetic. The pathetic part comes in when you start calculating it by hand... not that I would know from experience or anything.

Uh... anyways, glad you're enjoying the story!

I think the format is fine; no problem.  Italics would be fine, too.  (Aren't I helpful?)  To paraphrase Pam in the Merger "That's totally cool.  You can do what you want."

Marsha fell asleep musing on Pam and Jim and how to get them together.  Is she crazy?  Can you imagine someone doing such a thing?  Oh, right... us.  And in our case, they're actually fictional, so... yeah.

For some reason, I'm picturing Madge (from the warehouse) as Marsha.  Looking forward to more.

Author's Response:

Madge: Interesting. Not really the image I had in mind, but I realize I've been keeping her appearance really vague. Not exactly sure why I'm doing that.

Thanks for the review!

Hmm...that might be good (the italics, I mean). I did get a little confused in this chapter where the letter ended. Great job, btw.

Author's Response: Thanks. I'm still undecided on the italics issue. Maybe I'll just try it next time and see what I think.

I can always tell what the letters are, but I think that italics may make it more notiable faster.

and then, this is just getting better and better. i love the idea of looking in jims trash. and she should find something. and then give the others letters to them. and then happy jam.

okay, its your story, you write it since you are doing a great job!

Author's Response: I'm so addicted to these letters. I can't seem to stop writing them. However, there is more to the story and it's coming eventually, and with it the happy jam!

Great story, since most of it is the letters I would keep it unitalicized.

I really am enjoying this. I think the letters are totally characteristic of Pam. Well done. And Marsha is so sweet.
Your present format isn't at all confusing, but italics might be nice.
Loving this!

Author's Response:

Aw, shucks! I'm so glad you think Pam's letters are in character. I've been worried about that. Thanks for the review!

I'm really into this and it technically only has one character.

Good Job!!

Pam's letters are so sweet.  And I love Marsha trying to puzzle out the people and the situation from the letters.

And how psyched must you be to have gotten a rec from Moxie?  You go, girl.  And now... a theory...

Vexin is really Marsha.  Hahahaha!  Well, I like it.  A little cross-fanfic thing.  Anyway, I'm really enjoying the story.

Author's Response:

I know!! I squeed like crazy, or, well, I would have if I didn't work in such a visible place in my office. It was very good motivation to keep going though, and that combined with the fact that Thursdays are meeting days in my office (meaning everyone but me is in a conference room all afternoon) meant lots of writing. So I'm off to update! Glad you still like it. ;)

Are you thinking about continuing even more? Because I would like to keep reading more. Call me nosy, but I love reading these little letters of Pam's.

Author's Response: Yes, I have no problem being nosy, so you can definitely expect more soon. Thanks for the review!

This is very sweet, and a fun way of looking at them from "our" perspective- an outsider getting slowly emotionally involved. Next thing we know, poor Marsha will be writing fic!

Author's Response: Yeah, that's one of the things I'm enjoying most too. But the best thing about Marsha is that she actually has the potential to eventually go and shake them both into getting together. Something I know all of us would love to do.
