I finshed reading all the chapters last night (: Love it so far! I wonder where Karen is when all this is happening. Is she still in Rome?
Author's Response: I'm glad you're loving it. As for Karen... good question. For me she took the hotel room they were just given (hense why Jim moved to La Griffe)- I suppose she finished out her vacation there and returned to Scranton. I sort of left it to the reader to conclude where she went and what she might have done. But she's definitely not going to be lurking in the shadows from here on out... ;-) Thanks so much for the awesome review!

Aaaagh!!! I loved the cliffhanger, but whoa! Anyway, I just have to say I've been listening to that Lifehouse song A LOT lately, so I was excited to see you reference it. Nice job on the whole chapter.
I'm so excited/sad for the end. I can't wait to see what happens, but I don't want it to be over. Are you sure you don't want to write 50 more chapters about Jim and Pam deciding to just run away into the Italian countryside? Maybe backpack around Europe? Take the long way home to Scranton? Cuz I'd totally read all that. ;)
Isn't that Lifehouse song amazing?!! Try out the recent Goo Goo Dolls album as well. There's not a crappy song on that album and quite a few Jam songs on it as well (including the "Let Love In" one featured in that YouTube promo) I'm totally dreading the end of this fic... really. It's been such a wild and amazing ride and everyone has been so incredibly supportive- truly it's been a blessing. You might be on to something in terms of the fic idea... perhaps in the future... ;-) Thanks so much for reading and reviewing, I love hearing from readers.

Yay, new installment! :)
Loved it. Loved going back to the Mouth, loved the confessions, and he's kissing her! Excellent work. As usual, can't wait for more. :)
Author's Response: So glad to hear that you liked the return to the Mouth and found their confessions realistic. And yes, there was kissing! *le sigh* Thanks so much for the feedback!! :)

Agggh! You did NOT just end on that!! You're killing me! Anyway, story is wonderful as usual.
Author's Response: Oh dear! I don't mean to kill you! LOL I hope manage to stay alive to read the next chapter ;-) Thanks so much for reading and reviewing- I really appreciate it.

I think I may have said this after the last chapter, but seriously -- it's a testament to how freaking good this fic is that it can leave me all giddy; that final scene just makes my breath catch every single time.
I bow before you, my friend.
....*bangs on keyboard* PAY ATTENTION! LOL
Author's Response: I haven't even seen the guy and that totally cracks me up... And seriously, I owe you like a million dollars for your beta services and forget bowing down to me- DUDE, I totally worship your work.... like I think I've set up an altar and everything to it in my room..... (slightly stalkerish? Maybe...) But... devo pagare in anticipo?

I just want to tell you what a wonderful story you've written and shared with us all. I have been loving every chapter and looking foward to the next.
Such a romantic setting. I've never been to Italy, so I'm enjoying your vivid descriptions and links at the ends of chapters.
I don't know Italian, but I guessed that phrase correctly. When Pam figured it out, my heart was pounding, imagining how she felt. And the whole scene at the end was just so heartfelt and sincere and what a cliffhanger!
Eagerly awaiting the next installment!
Author's Response: Oh wow! What an amazing review. It's very exciting to me to hear from people who haven't been to Rome and still are able to visualize what I've written. It means a lot to me. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing.

Oh, this is so good. SO GOOD. So help me, though, if this ends with him sitting alone in a car, adam's apple bobbing against tears, while she disappears around a corner to go back to her real life, I will be MOST unhappy. (I loooove Roman Holiday but it makes me cry every time!).
Author's Response: No... I can't pretty much promise that there will not be a news conference, Pam is not a runaway princess and Jim will not end up alone.... LOL Wow... did I just give away too much information? ;-) Thanks so much for reading and reviewing. I get so excited to hear that people are enjoying the story.

Oh. That's a good, exciting ending. Well done. I felt so bad for Pam when she got upset thinking about Jim being in Rome with Karen, even knowing the phrase he chose...
So well done!
Author's Response: Oh wow, thank you so much for the awesome review.

Thank you, for not having Jim screw around with Karen anymore. Very nicely wrapped up--although I get the feeling we haven't seen the last of Karen, perhaps?
Author's Response: You're very welcome. I happily ended things with Karen. ;-) Yes, this is the last we'll see of her, never fear. :) I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the chapter. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing :)

Ah! That so amazing. I'm hoping there will be an update soon? I'm majorly excited for this long chapter you're teasing.
Author's Response: I hopefully will post the next chapter either the end of this week or the beginning of next. Thanks so much for the awesome review.

Whoa, Pam & Jim at the Mouth of Truth. See, that's what we needed about three episodes into S3.
And a cliffhanger at a JamSmooch? There ought to be a law.
BTW, I had a good idea what Sono innamorata de ti meant, so I have been WAITING for this chapter big time. And now I'm waiting for the next one! Please update soon! Obviously, I'm not so good at the patience thing.
Author's Response: Oooh you guys and your online translators... hehehe As a reader I hate, hate, HATE cliffhangers... but as a writer, I freaking LOVE them. *cue evil laughter* Thanks so much for the awesome review!

Yay! They're finally being honest. I loved this line "if you'd just told me, I would have stopped you..." If only it didn't take so much time and going across half the world...but now they're in such a romantic city, what are they going to do next?!
Author's Response: Ooooh, I'll never tell ;-) I'm so glad you're loving the story and loving where I'm taking Jim and Pam- your reviews are awesome. Thanks so much!!

10+ pages? When you post that, I better just cancel plans for the whole day!
And I don't know that Lifehouse Song... but I know their other songs. And in fact, I just listened to Trying. Yep. *nods very seriously* Yep I did.
So my face did a :O and then a happy smile and then a teary eyed happy smile (dammit, why is everything making me teary eyed!).
No Pam, it isn't a mistake or anything. Jim meant it, no, don't be sad!!!!!!!! (I added the extra exclaimation points in an effort to really get the point across to Pam. Those extra helped translate it from a review into Pam's head... something like that)
In an odd way, Jim's thought about two people avoiding finding each other across the world... anyways, so, in 9th grade, no, summer after 10th... I was at nerd camp. and the first day, we did this stupid little "make a map of the US with where you are from thing" and so, I found all the other people from my state. and then we were like, okay, what cities are you near. and then the people from certain cities got together. and then we were like, okay where exactly are you. and then we were like, whoa same town. wait, like a mile from the mall? freaky. and we became really good friends. but of course, we had to drive 6 hours away to nerd camp to meet each other.
I love how Jim realized when he saw her dancing. It is so sweet and so Jim and I can totally picture it.
Its such cute little Jim/Pam banter with the mouth - the expendable fingers and what not.
And Jim playing soccer - oh yeah. I would love that. In fact, if I ever meet JK, I am totally going to challenge him. Because I could kick his ass. And no idea why I want to do that, but I totally would.
Them with their hands in their mouth was just so its like it was what they needed to say, and still so heartbreaking.
“Sometimes you have to run away to see if someone will follow,"
I don't even know how to put into words my reaction to that line. I guess Jim knows what I am talking about.
I can't wait for the next chapter, all 10+ pages of it.
Author's Response: Okay, so I just about died at your comment: "I don't even know how to put into words my reaction to that line. I guess Jim knows what I am talking about."- WOW. Seriously. Most flattering thing you could have ever written. And your story about nerd camp had me laughing. Thanks so much for your awesome support and for your reviews.

NO!!!! Oh cruel fate that the chapter must end there!!!!!
I'll be mighty anxious to see those next 10+ pages of a chapter. :) Update soon!!
Author's Response: I was cruel, wasn't I? ;-) Thank you so much for your amazing reviews! You've been so awesome.

I know I've already gone on and on over at TWoP, but I wanted to leave a real review as well. I loooooooved this chapter! And am on the edge of my seat for the next. Hooray it's going to be so long! You are awesome!
Author's Response: Wow! I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed the chapter. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing (and you're awesome too!!)

OOOOH....smooth Jim...so proud of what you said to her! (And yes, I pulled out my old, dog-eared Italian to English dictionary to figure that last line out.)
Author's Response: Hehehe.... Smart cookie! ;-) Thanks so much for reading and reviewing.

I am so excited everytime I see a new chapter of this story. The snowy flower petals, Pam dancing, its all so beautiful. On a side note, I can't believe Karen put on the ring! Seriously, how rude. I guess I might have done that but only if I was sure Jim wasn't going to return for a while. Then I would've put it back EXACTLY where I found it. Of course that would've prolonged the whole Karim thing so I'm glad she put it on. Anyway, awesome work yet again and I really hope you update this soon, like now please.
Author's Response: You're too sweet! Thank you for the review. To be fair, I totally would have been staring at the ring and had been all excited too (hello, it's Jim Halpert! LOL) But you're right- she totally had enough time to put it back and didn't. So I guess she had it coming...? Hehehehe Thanks so much for reading!

AWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!! He told her he's in love with her in Italian!! Awwwww!!!! I can't wait for the next chapter, when she figures out what he said! Eeeee!!!! I love this story.
Author's Response: I will neither acknowledge nor deny that that may or may not be what Jim said ;-) I'm happy to hear you're enjoying it! Thanks so much for reading :)

They're dancing! Together! In Rome! And Karen is history!
You packed a lot into this chapter! And I'm using way more than my daily allotment of exclamation points!!! (Love it so much!)
Author's Response: Use as many exclamation points as you want!!!!! I realized just the other day that I wrote a whole heck of a lot in that chapter- but perhaps I was antsy to have them together... LOL I'm glad you're enjoying the chapters. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!!!!!!!! :)

Online translators are pretty great. Brilliant story - such beautiful descriptions of Rome as well. This is almost filmic to me, and I'm seeing it in my head, which I find pretty amazing. Nice job.
Author's Response: I'm so excited to hear you call it "filmic" because when I was writing it, I certainly saw a lot of it play out in my own head. I am pleading the 5th as to whether or not the online translators have translated correctly (heheheh) Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

Yay, they broke up! lol That's mean, but come on. ;)
Still loving this lots. I hope a new chapter is coming soon. I loved Jim and Pam's reunion, the dancing, and I can't wait for the meeting. You're really putting a lot into this; not every fic requires so much research. :) You should be proud.
Author's Response: Not mean! muhahah!! Trust me, it did me world's of pleasure to break them up. ;-) Thank you for your amazing compliments- they really meant a lot. Especially your comments about the research. I'm a big history geek, so research sort of comes with the territory- thus, doing this story and researching for it has been world's of fun. My biggest problem is figuring out what I'm going to write next... I want to be original, but not historical and AU- but I'm a little stumped. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. Your reviews are amazing.

PS...although I am in love with you for writing these chapters, Is what Jim said "i'm in love with you"? I speak spanish and it's very similar to Italian. Am I right?
... and I am in love with you for reading the chapters (LMAO!!) But I will commit to nothing in regards to what Jim said. NOTHING! *cue evil laughter* You'll find out in the next chapter... maybe... ;-)
