When I read that she was wearing the borrowed sapphire earrings, I immediately sucked in my breath, then let it out in a big happy whoooosh when you described her dress. :o) And this:
Forty-five minutes. After all the months and years of uncertainty and pain and struggle, he, Jim Halpert, was going to marry Pam Beesly in forty-five minutes. His bride. His wife. The thought brought goosebumps to his arms and his mouth went slightly dry.
...Guh. Just brought it home so much. (OMG - are the coming chapters married chapters!!?!?!?)
Damn it woman - you reduce me to Kelly every time. :o)

Loved it. Jim's teasing about it being "a new dress" was so him - both the words and the reason. And fabulous that Pam took credit for the proposal that happened at the end of the last chapter! Can't wait to find out what the last outfit is going to be.

I think Jim uses humor to cover a lot- but maybe he uses it to mask his pain a lot less now that he is finally with Pam! We need to discuss the last outfit, actually- an e-mail is on the way. Thank you for your review, as always!

Yes! Silly superstitions about seeing the bride in her dress before the wedding be hanged!! (heck, I took my wife's bridal photos two months before we got married!) This is such a nice little series of glimpses. I am really enjoying them.
Author's Response: I'm so glad you like! We did our photos before the ceremony...but we did clear everyone out of my dressing room so we could have "a moment" beforehand. I was calmer instantly (like Pam in my story, obviously). Thank you, again- it's great to have a guy's seal of approval on all this fluff!

This last chapter was definitely my favorite...but the "you'll just have to marry me" comment from the previous chapter was a great lead in to this fluffy & fantastic wedding update! Thanks for sharing!

YAY! I was hoping a wedding dress was going to be one of her sets of new clothes! I am such a sap! (and yay to Pam & Jim for not being superstitious)
