bahahaha! Oh wow, this was just such an adorkable little snippet here, lovefool! It especially resonated with me because I wrote a story not long ago where Jim had "Back in Black" as his ring tone on his cell phone. So, as I read this, I just kept thinking, "Oh yeah, it's totally plausible that he'd be humming that tune. After all, he hears it every time Pam calls his phone."
(Yeah, see, I'm enough of a narcissist to believe that everyone knows what I'm thinking when they're writing their own stories! :P)
Anyway, just a fantastic job here. Bravo!

I'm STILL laughing. Honestly, you go straight to that real and completely dorky element without ever being too much of anything that a good fic shouldn't be too much of. (got that?) I love Jim the 7th grader ("maybe it would help if you hummed something") so much.

Ok, if there were an award for making me spit my Diet Coke out and onto the screen...you'd win, hands down. That last little exchange, particularly Pam's response (I know you're aware of it as you wrote it, but I can't help repeating it here, so here goes...ready?...That's appalling Jim...but ok.) had me cracking up!!
They are so effing cute and we finally get them back in April...but I'd still like to read more from you before then! Because the way you write them is just all kinds of delicious.
