The question of "where is literally everyone else in Pam's life?" had actually not occurred to me before reading this chapter, which is super embarrassing - I mean, she's close with her mom, she's got Isabel, she's got Penny...Â
Eh. Oh, well. Either way, I thought you did a good job with Pam's Mom 1.0 here. She's clearly concerned, but not whacking Pam over the head with it - which fits with canon, where there was clearly no head-whacking happening with Pam at this juncture.

yeah, pam is a bit conflicted and upset during this period i would imagine. i mean, she was expecting people from work to show, her work got insulted, things are weird with jim, she is back with roy. its just a confusing time, and she just wants to be happy, but it isn't working. and i think i have no idea what i am saying anymore
