This review is brought to you by the letter A, and the Story of the Moment box on the main page that I really shouldn't have looked at since it was already seriously past my bedtime.

"One, two, skip a few, ninety-nine, one hundred!" totally made me laugh out so loud that I scared my cat... And oddly, this chapter reminded me as much of college as it did of grade school. Happy memories, either way, and this was awesome, giggly fun.

Jim is such a sweetie. Seriously, rigt now, I would settle for a J (a third of a Jim).... I don't need the whole thing.

Pam has a fall birthdays. Fall birthdays are the best. My birthday usually falls on the first official day of fall. Its pretty awesome.

I so love them acting like kids. This is just sweet. And smily. I can just picture it and I am smiling.

I must have had a deprived childhood - I have never heard "one two skip a few" thats so awesome. i am so using that!

I am way to horrible at hide and seek. If I am asked to play it, I so try to tell the kiddos to play something else. It is like the least fun game ever to me. I must have had a very tramuatic hide and seek experience or something as a child, but I can't remember. But for some reason, hide and seek is like the devils game in my mind.

Swinging - now that is awesome. I really think my college needs wings out on the horseshoe. I could swing for hours... thats it, I need to find the nearest playground. I am going swinging like NOW. I miss it too much. (its been like a month and a half since I last swung)

Jim is such a dork! They are such sweet adult kids.

Getting kids meals is awesome. I generally always do. Smaller portions AND a toy. What could be better?!

Cootie shot - yes. I still use it. I have to touch boys often, and you have to be prepared. However, not so much with the swings.

Author's Response: Ha, I know what you mean about the feeling during hide and seek. I was the hide and seek expert when I was a kid. I still like playing it, and it still makes my tummy squirm. "One, two, skip a few, 99, 100" is the smartass way of counting to 100, I did it many times! rnThanks for the review!

Okay, wow! How have I missed this story? Shame on me! So many great things in this chapter:

-Sweaters and CDs. Should I feel guilty for all the sweaters and CDs I've bought my wife over the years? :P

-Bonus points for a Ralph Wiggum reference!

-Dorky!Jam is the best Jam of all the Jam.

-I remember the "married" swing thing, but I never knew about the cootie shot. Although, it would have come in handy, since everyone knows girls are the source of cooties. :P

Fabulous chapter! Off to read the next!

Author's Response: Ha, thanks! And being a sweater and CD guy isn't bad, as you'll see. I'm glad you like it!

This is fun, McGigi.  No, I don't know the swings thing or the cootie shot...When I was a kid, cooties was pretty much incurable. (Very sad.)

I'm having fun with it - I'm glad you're having fun writing, also.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review, Kev!!

"We're making up for lost time. This is me loving you forever."  Melt.  That is adorable.  As are the Happy Meals.  I've always loved getting those -- but now I have to share with my own kids.

And yeah, Jim & Pam are totally Michael's parents.  See "Safety Training".

Author's Response: yeah, I was fascinated with that idea during the commentary, it rings so true. And I just had to add extra cheese into an already cheesy premise. I'm glad you like it!

Oooh, can't wait till they relive their teenage years.  They can go parking at Lake Scranton!

This is a really cute story and I'm looking foward to more.

Author's Response: Thanks for the idea of Lake Scranton, it's just perrrfect for them. I'll add a thank-you to the notes when I get in to work tomorrow. I'm glad you enjoy it!

It's good fluff! :)  This is such an original idea for a birthday celebration.  This part was hilarious, "No, kissing is gross. But we have to cross the street, so you can hold my hand," he said seriously. She reached for his hand, but he pulled it away first. "Just a moment," he said, tracing a circle on his palm with his other pinky. "Circle, circle, dot, dot, now I've got the cootie shot," he said.

I had never heard the swing thing although we always came up with some funny rules too when playing certain games.

Looking forward to more of this story! :)

Author's Response: Thanks so much for all the support! I love kids' rules, they're awesome and completely illogical.

I had forgotten about the syncing of swings = married! but yes, now i remember... always stopping myself when my best friend (yes, a boy) and i started to sync, terrified that everyone would tease us (they did already).  and as for the cootie shot, poor jim's only got his hand covered. the second part is: "circle, circle, square, square, now i have it everywhere." then it's complete. hehe.. i'm such a dork. and i heart this story this much!! *stretches arms wide*  more please!!!

Author's Response: You shall have more, as soon as I can get to work and write it. I hadn't remembered the rest of the cootie shot, so it's lucky they only held hands. Thanks for reviewing, and I'm glad you like this!

Aw, this is totally cute so far! Very sweet. And, yeah, I got my share of cootie shots as a kid, though I'm not familiar with the marriage swings, but I think that sounds like a pretty normal kid thing ;)

Author's Response: Well, then, you're lucky for not knowing about the marriage swings, I myself am married to a various number of former second graders from 1988. Thanks for the review!

That was so cute! I totally loved it!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm having a lot of fun, and really wishing Jim was real, so he'd take me to my old school and chase me.

This is so freaking adorable! I don't remember the married when the swings sync up thing, but I do remember the Hertz Donut! Can't wait to read more.

Author's Response: Thank you! I got my fair share of Hertz donuts and had a good time trying to remember all the weird little childhood rituals.

You were not a crazy child! I remember that stuff and that is one reason I enjoyed it so much. Now I want to go play on the swings.  Can't wait for the next chapter.

Author's Response: Aw, thanks! I'm glad to know I wasn't insane, and I had way too much fun remembering all of it. Thanks for reviewing!

This story made me feel a bit like Kelly standing in front of the glass at a nursery. Basically I was smiling crazily, and thinking how awesome it is. I'm excited to see more, what will Jim do for prom? Drive to her parents house and get their pictures taken while he wears a powder-blue suit? Ah, the possibilities.....

Author's Response: Ha, great description of how you feel! I'm so glad you like it, you'll just have to wait to see what happens in high school. I'm trying to thik of every cliche. Thanks for the review!
