He does love her this much. And it's so idealized and so beautiful that it is hard to remember that it is also real and flawed and maybe too much. But you capture it here beautifully. Merry Christmas!

Oh, this was beautiful. I loved that you described some of his faults and flaws, because that's what makes him such a real character. I love the sentiment of unthreading the light, too, because that's really what love is, isn't it, just millions of little things.
Thanks for writing this, it brightened up my morning.

I love that she doesn't love him blindly - she just loves him, all of him, warts and all. And I also like that you've made Pam aware of how deeply he loves her - great last line, btw. Just how I think she'd feel. This feels warm and intimate and it made me happy to read.

That was a really lovely description of their relationship.  I like that Pam is able to identify his faults and his strengths; it feels like a realistic assessment and yet she loves.  It was really sweet.

Author's Response: I think a lot of TV characters have these relationships that seem almost too good to be true; I tried to think realistically. Thanks so much for reviewing! =)rn

I love the imagery of unthreading the light, but I also love this:

She has never been loved this well or this hard by anyone, and she knows this should make her sad, that it has taken this long to find someone who can. But mostly she’s just glad to finally know what it feels like.

I'm sure they both thank their lucky stars every day that they were finally able to find each other again.  This story made me very happy and we need happy stories to get through this strike.  So thank you!

Author's Response: That's the only good thing about this strike, a lot of fic! Thanks for reviewing!

OK - so wow.  This:

But when she learns to unthread the light, she sees that it’s made of a million tiny things, infinite shining strands of love woven together, and it’s easier. Easier that way, taking it a piece at a time. Comforting, to know she’ll never run out of it.

KILLED ME - knocked me back on my --- and left me with a gasp and a smile.  What a beautiful thought and what a wonderful fic.  Thank you.

Author's Response: Thanks! =)

This is gorgeous and sweet and put a big ole' smile on my face.  That Pam is one lucky gal.  Looking forward to more stories from you!

Author's Response: She definitely is lucky! I think it's a crime that Jim Halpert doesn't exist, lol. Thanks for reviewing!

oh i loooove this. i think you addressed a lot of the realities of jim/pam and did it in this really artful, summed up way. sometimes i think it's so hard to give fic a tone - but you did it - and the tone is light, airy, and really gorgeous. congrats!

Author's Response: Wow. I love your fics too, especially Eight Times They Took a Leap, so this is a huge compliment. Thanks so much!

You've made me more jealous of Pam than I usually am.

So...in short - this is simply wonderful and lovely all around.  Thanks  so much for sharing it with us.

Author's Response: Oh, I'm always jealous of Pam. I think that's why I write fic, lol. Thank YOU for the nice review!

You paint such a pretty picture with your words awesomeblossom. This is my fav passage...

It’s blinding, sometimes, the force with which he loves her. But when she learns to unthread the light, she sees that it’s made of a million tiny things, infinite shining strands of love woven together, and it’s easier. Easier that way, taking it a piece at a time. Comforting, to know she’ll never run out of it.
Also, I love that you referenced a song from The Swell Season. I adore their music, it's more than brilliant as is your story.

Author's Response: Aw, thank you! And The Swell Season is ridiculously AMAZING. The second I heard that song I knew I had to write something. Thanks for reviewing!

Guh.  I miss happy Pam & Jim!!!  This helps.  Or maybe makes it worse, I can't tell which.  Nicely done.

Author's Response: LOL, I miss them too. Thanks for reviewing!

besides the fact you ruined my illusion that Jim was perfect, I loved this. It made me happy. Like, my heart is smiling. Not sure how thats possible, but it is.

Author's Response: Haha, thanks so much for reviewing! Trust me, it was not easy to shatter MY illusion that he was perfect, either. Of course your heart can smile, with Jim all things are possible, right? =) Thanks again!
