“I’ll never not love you, Jim.”

Beautiful line. I was a little worried about Pam at the end of "Friday", but I'm glad to see this had a happy ending.

This story was achingly good. Seriously, my chest tightened as I read this. There was so much emotion. I loved it!

Author's Response: wow! thank you so much! I was feeling very emotional when I wrote it (damn writers strike) and I am glad that came through. yay for your review! :)

Really great, very much enjoyed it.  More than that, though, it was really thought provoking.  I don't know if you intended it this way, but to me Pam comes off rather badly here.  She seems to turn her back on him; there's almost an implication of "open up to me or I'll stop loving you."  I was angry at her on Jim's behalf.  It worked, though, and the confrontation and reconciliation seemed very much in character and realistic.  I just am not sure we should try Pam's approach at home.

Author's Response: oooh I did not intend it that way but I really love your view of it. that definitely makes me consider continuing it with one or two additional parts even more. i was approaching it from the POV that Pam doesn't want to play games anymore, she's been there, done that, she's all in, in every way, and she shares her dreams with Jim and just wants the same in return. She's not going to settle for less than that anymore. That's sort of the FNB that I think we have seen a ton more of this season. I guess she COULD have been more sensitive, however, and I think that'd be very interesting to explore.rnrnhmmm... *strokes chin*rnrnthanks so much for the thought-provoking response, I seriously appreciate it!

Great piece! I loved this part the most:
“I’ll never not love you, Jim.” Nuzzling her nose against his, she grinned. “I know there’s still that part of you that doesn’t believe that yet. But it’ll learn.”

Just lovely!

Author's Response: aww yay! thank you!

The fact that I wanted you for so long I didn’t bother to dream about anything else?”
That just summed up Jim's s4 arc for me. Brilliant. This was lovely, insightful and a really great read :)

Author's Response: eee! thank you! *blushes* that means so much :)

Yeah!  I so deeply wanted to see or hear about this confrontation on the show this season (single tear) and I really like the natural way that you've covered it.  The way they express themselves in your dialogue is pretty much how I think they would too :) Especially this line from Jim: “The fact that I wanted you for so long I didn’t bother to dream about anything else?”

I think they'll be having this argument for a long time to come though...Jim has a lot of adjusting to do now that his greatest dream has come true.

Author's Response: thanks so much! I agonize over dialog, its so hard to get down, especially these two, and I constantly struggle with it, so it means so much that you felt it was in character. I know how often times one word or phrase that is OOC can take the reader right out of the story. I really appreciate the review! :)

Ooh if only there were visuals/audio supplements to this story! I know we'd all love a little Halpert singing!! :)

Yet again you rock my world shariep with your incredible insight into Jim.  You know just how to get into his mind and spill out his feelings! (as werid as that sounds...)

you know, I tried finding that Jim's paradox thing on NBC and never could find it! You'll have to direct me in the right direction sometime :)

I guess it's also better being the best beta alive rather than the best beta dead right? Haha

Lovely job, m'dear!

Author's Response: teehee thanks as always. I really love Halpert, what can I say? I try my best to think how words would sound and come from his mouth. (twss) but one can never know until others give feedback. you have really helped me out so much I can't even tell you. rnrnOh, I will email you the link to TJP, its good times. :D

Doesn't Jim realize?  Chicks LOVE guys who play the guitar!  I like how Pam blindsided Jim with the Mitchell report, BTW.

Author's Response: hehe thanks. yeah it was partly all of the Mitchell Report backlash that fueled the flames for this fic. Part of me wondered what Jimbo would think. I loved the idea of Pam broaching the subject even more. Thanks for reading, it's very much appreciated!

I really liked this, Sharipep. You touched on a lot of the themes I was hoping we'd be seeing now if the strike wasn't still happening. Jim's evolution and devolution after finally getting Pam, FNB coming into her own, the tension between the woman Jim fell in love with and the woman she is today, the list goes on and on. You've done a wonderful job here. I also liked the exploration of Angry!Jim. We only got a peak at him in "Branch Wars" (his face when Dwight threw the phone out the window was really the only thing I liked about that ep), and after reading this story, I know that I want to see more of him.

So bravo, and keep up the great work! -CH

Author's Response: aww yay thanks becky! i really was hoping this would be explored as well and whenever I re-watch episodes for this season, I kind of salivate over all the possibilities with Jam's storyline. Sadly, because the studio-heads are assholes, we may never really get to see how it all would have played out. anyway, thank you so much for the fabulous review, I LOVE THEM hehe.
