I mean this in the best way possible- another piece of fluff from you as fulfilling as a big piece of chocolate cake with chocolate frosting when you're PMS-ing. Yummy!
Author's Response: And I take that in the best possible way. Thanks Par5!!!

Yea!!! This was fantastic. I love happy endings. Also, I think this line was my favorite:
He'd imagined this whole thing differently - imagined something far more romantic occurring on the night they finally had come to their senses.
Haha, this is SO true. You think that there's going to be this huge, lovely, romantic night and then someone (it was me in my case) says something that just shatters the illusion. Love is still grand, though... I hope we get to see something like this; a wedding at the end of the series? That would be great. Awww, Jim and Pam.
Author's Response:
I'm glad you thought so - because I'm really feeling bad about not saying more. And that line??? Totally because I don't think they sat there spewing poetry when all was said and done. They knew the enevitable - but would try and find the humor in it to ease the tension.
Awwww, Jim and Pam. Man - I'd love me a wedding as a series finale. That would be perfect.
Author's Response: eta: I actually know how to spell inevitable.

K, I'm a sucker for sappy endings and that was perfect. No more fics till Friday? what are we gonna do?
Author's Response:
So am I. Glad you liked it.
And I'm hoping I'll be rendered speechless and have limited use of motor function on Friday due to what airs Thurs. night - so it might take a bit longer than that. LOL!

Alright, listen. I don't know if you realize this, but there's still 2 days before the premiere. I think I need an Overtime. Kidding :) I loved it. This line killed me:
"But I'm going to have to - if I want to stop hurting you."
Thank you Pam! It's about time. Hee. And, have to agree with shan, I like how you've "structured" Jim here. Mmm, structured Jim. Anyways, thank you fairy godmother!
Author's Response:
Premiere? When???
I know you're kidding - but I'm not. :) I simply can't write another word about the aftermath of May 11th until I know the outcome for sure. Trust me - I'm sure I'll still be inspired - just a little less frequently. ;)
And thanks about noting Pam's "apology" of sorts. I want her to acknowledge how unfair she has been - because for me Jim always runs into the brick wall of "but she's engaged" whenever he thinks it's time to tell her the truth.
Wow. Babble much???
In closing - glad you liked it, structured Jim and your wishes...my commands. :)

He looks down at her and she can feel it, how very much he loves her. It washes over her, like a wave of the ocean she can hear in the distance.
Wow. Just...This is a beautifully crafted ending. The tone is perfect- we can still hear the echoes of the angst but we're safe from it now. This is happy Jim and happy Pam who have earned happily-ever-after. Love it.
Author's Response: lis - you should win the award for best reviewer - because you nearly choke me up everytime. Thank you.

So sweet, and so true! They could never really be "just friends".
Author's Response: Not after last May - that's for sure. :) Thanks Lissa!

...And there was much rejoicing *yay*
He spins her, but he's no where near as graceful as she'd imagined way back when.
Nice. Yeah, we all want Jim to be this perfect man, but let's face it, he's a 26-yr-old guy. A great one, but not perfect. I like how you structured this :)
Author's Response:
Hee hee!
Even I - who thinks he can pretty much do no wrong - have to take Jim down a notch or two occassionally.
I'm glad you liked it - I don't feel like I quite did this one justice.
I know it's my own fault for trying to eek out another "will they or won't they" story so close to the 21st.
Thanks Shan!
