I've had this sitting around to review for a while. Oops, never got around to it. Oh well. Better late than never (even if this is just one chapter, and I still have a bit more to read til the end).
I love how in character these characters are. Like, this could just be its own little show, just as much as the Scranton verison is. (reminds me of Friends, because I just watched the episode where they did AU, and in the commentary, they said that this could be just as interesting as a show), so its like that. This could totally work as a show.
Except then, poor Jim would never know the tonnage price of paper, and well, that would be a travesty.
Oh, the Phyllis who is nice and not a total mean bitch like she has seemingly become on the show. Can we just do a fandom replacement of a character?
Just picturing the way Jim was looking at her in the photo makes me smile and grin like a silly little lovesick puppy.
Okay, well, the entire chapter makes me smile and grin.
Now I have enough happiness so I can go... exercise or something equally unfun.

Looking back on it, I can definitely see how this could be its own show; it was really fun taking the characters and put them in this whole other world that worked just as well for them. LOL Phyllis! Yeah, what's happened to her? Maybe it's like what happened to Ryan; once she got a little power, she totally took complete advantage of it. Glad I made you smile! Smile enough to feel motivated to exercise even!! That's something. Thank you so much for all the help you gave on this story; you really made it like a thousand times better than it was. :)

I haven't done much with PAFA yet in Gifts but I did use it in some detail in a story a group of us posted last year, 1st Dates, 1st Days - Northern Attacking the Hiatus. Hey, that's pretty nifty! When you copy the title from your stories list it looks like it comes over as a hyperlink. I wonder if it will really work.
Anyway, waiting for the next chapter! I'm liking your lucky Jim!

I've been reading and enjoying this story tremendously! I just put 2 & 2 together and noticed that you have Pam working as the website manager for PAFA, while in my story (Gifts) I have her attending their 4 year certificate program. Kinda funny! Have you been there? It's such a great museum!
I'm very curious to find out if Roy is the one Sixers fan who looks at the Arts and Entertainment section. But maybe he won't have to. Maybe the Inquirer will run a picture in the Sports section that features Jim ... with Pam alongside.

And I should definitely read your story; it will be cool to see how you're using it as a setting for her development. As for Roy... So happy to have you back, DA-S, and with such a fun chapter! With each update, I'm just amazed at your knack of inserting these characters into this alternate universe so successfully--even Packer! I only wish we could see the photo of Jim, Pam and Kelly : )
Author's Response: Thank you so much!! Yes, I was very excited when I realized I could include Packer successfully. And I would've tried to create that photo except I am no good at Photoshop. I don't even know where the picture(s) would come from to Photoshop into it. Guess you'll just have to use your imagination. :D Thanks again!!!
