So beautiful and real. Beautifully written with a hushed sense of being overwhelmed. Really beautiful.

This was the most amazingly beautiful, heartwarming and tear producing story I've read in a long, long time. Wow.  Just wonderful. Going directly into favorites to make it easier to read over and over again.

This is just fantastic, a proof that fluff can be as real and touching as any other "genre". The line that Mr Bill quotes is my favourite too. Here's to you never becoming tee-total. *raises class*

wow. that was absolutely incredible! i've read this over a span of two days (a lifetime to read chapter for me) and i'm just savoring it. i don't think i've ever read anything more 'jim and pam'. you brought their personas to this story so effortlessly, along with their little angel of a baby boy. great job yanana, and i can't wait to see what you come up with next!

What can I really add that hasn't already been said...beautiful...simply beautiful!  But I'd be totally remiss if I didn't acknowledge the absolute perfection of the sentiment that defines so much of what is wonderful about Jim Halpert...."That girl, your mom?  The one passed out over there?'  He smiles.  'Our whole thing in life. We just take care of her.  That's our girl, alright?"

That is just "emotionally magnificent" [/Michael Scott].

Author's Response: Haha, "emotionally magnificent." Thanks for the review, I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

I love it, your story is just so sweet especially the moment with Jim and their baby boy. I can definitely see that at the hospital with Jim and Pam along with their newborn baby.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. :)

I don't think I've ever read anything before that has actually made me this close to tears. Wow. This is absolutely PERFECT. I've read it over about five times now, and I'm sure I'll read it over again in the future. Beautifully, BEAUTIFULLY written. I don't think I can say enough. I love it. And I agree with everyone else on that one line; it's pretty much the sweetest, most adorable thing ever. Thanks for this! :)

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! That line was the first thought in my mind and the fic grew around that, so I'm glad it stuck around since everyone seemed to take it with them. :)

Fluff is really all Jim and Pam should be doing right now anyway :) I think you write Jim very well. Lovely and I have no idea why only ten people have reviewed so far!

Author's Response: It is true, there should be nothing but fluff right now. Well, I wouldn't mind smut. Smuff. Whatever, haha. I'll leave that up to the pros. Thanks for the review. :)

Sweet, in character, realistic...Oh heck, it was incredible. Honestly the best birth fic I've ever read, and I'm not really sure if any one can top it. My mind is still going in circles over how much work that must have been. You perfectly captured not just the characters, but the awe and roller coaster emotions that come with a baby. I won't put how incredible that one line is (which the writers had better use, are you listening NBC?)because everyone else already commented on it in their reviews. But great work, can't wait to hear more!

this is incredible. I should just post this entire story inside of this little box here because I loved every stinkin' word. From start to finish...and the line where Jim tells their little boy that Pam is their girl...and their entire THING in life is to take care of her...DEAD. Literally, I'm surprised I can type right now.

PERFECTION.

Author's Response: Ahh, thank you so much! Is it a little fangirly of me to think that any compliment on one of my babyfics coming from you is an honor? ;) Total dork, yeah .. but thanks for the review.:)

The other day, when I was watching an episode from the new season 5 DVD set, I randomly imagined Pam holding a baby. I just--can't wait. :D

It's funny; I wanted Pam to have a girl, but after reading this line:

"That girl, your mom? The one passed out over there?" He smiles. "Our whole thing in life.. We just take care of her. That's our girl, alright?"

I may have to reconsider. ;)

Author's Response: See, this is where I'm so torn! I want them to have a baby girl because I want to see Jim with a baby girl and all the sweetness that lies there. Like Jim swooning over another girl in his life. But that line is actually what came first, and the fic was basically built around it, and that's the reason I would be as equally happy with a little boy. So, yeah, I'm on the fence. Thanks for the review. :)

I really cannot imagine a better Jim and Pam "birth" fic than the one you've written here. The voices were so real, and the emotions pitch perfect. One of the golden memories of my life was watching my husband hold our firstborn boy while sitting in a chair in the hospital room with me. He was utterly transfixed, as new fathers are, and you have captured that "new parent" wonder perfectly. Thank you. You weasled a tear out of this old coot this morning.

Author's Response: I'm so glad that you wrote this! I've never had a baby and haven't been around too many people that have. So I'm glad it reached enough and seemed real enough. I can only imagine that first-time mothers are just a mess with their new babies, or at least I think I would be. So thanks for your review; I'm glad you liked. :)

Guh.  So lovely.

"Our whole thing in life.. We just take care of her. That's our girl, alright?"  That is what Jim is all about.  That's why he can be so damned happy selling paper in Scranton.

Author's Response: I don't think I'll ever love another character on television more than Jim Halpert because of that reason right there. I want great things for him on the show, but he would be happy just selling paper in Scranton as long as he had his girl. Siiiiigh. Thanks for the review. :)

LMAO you definitely need to drink more, this was perfect, so amazingly awesome and perfect I could cry :)

Author's Response: Cheers! ::raises drink:: ;) Well, it looks like I'll be quenching my thirst tonight, I wish I could push my WIP in the direction it needs to go... I'm glad you enjoyed this story. Thanks for the review. :)

You know, yanana, I swear you sense it when I'm about to poke at you for an update : D  This is so sweetly perfect, so in character.  The dialog, the sense of elation, everything is really just...I can't even describe it.

This is what really finally gets the waterworks going:  "That girl, your mom? The one passed out over there?" He smiles. "Our whole thing in life.. We just take care of her. That's our girl, alright?"  Of course Jim would say that.  Excellent job.  ::adds to favorites::

Author's Response: Hey there NanReg! I'm glad you enjoyed. :)

Yeah, so you were just drunk and tired and you decided to whip up another awesome fic? I'm thinking you should drink more! lol

It is fluffy, but who doesn't love a little fluff once in awhile?

Jim holding his little boy and THIS: "'That girl, your mom? The one passed out over there?' He smiles. 'Our whole thing in life.. We just take care of her. That's our girl, alright?'" ...Yeah, my heart is warm for the day.

Author's Response: Haha, I definitely indulge on my Jam obsession when I'm drunk, at the end of the night with my Office episodes on the laptop. Kinda weird ... but hey, I enjoy writing the fluff, especially when my poor little Jam heart is just starved during the hiatus! Thanks for the review. :)
