I love this AU! And I love that Jim and Pam are still wanting to fight for their relationship… would love to see it continue!

I am already liking it. Quite an interesting beginning to the story. I am looking forward to more drama.
Good luck!

Not sure if it's in the stars for this one to be continued but wow, a very powerful beginning. You started in a very interesting place, giving the readers so many questions on how Jim and Pam have ended up here. I'm admittedly not the biggest 2nd person POV fan but I like how you used it here, would be very intriguing to see the next chapter from Pam's POV.

Why is Pam always the strong one, albeit the one who wants to screw things up? I'd like to see Jim be more of a bad boy at times. Pam needs to feel pain like she causes/

Ack! OK, first of all, I misread the summary and though one of them (Jim) had an affair. He thinks his secretary is cute but decides not and besides it reminds him of Moira. (Who?!? It made me think it was who he had the affair with.)

Then to learn that not only are Jim and Pam LEGALLY separated (but still love each other!), they have tried therapy, and the separation was his idea and... oh, it doesn't look good for them at all.

And now it is 1:30 in the morning and I can't possibly go to bed now with this sad story being my last.

And I'm done with my review. I feel like my name should be Kelly with the rambling I've managed.

This is good but it hurts to read it so I think I'll wait until it's done and read it backwards. That way I'll know right away if it has a happy ending or not...

Wow, so I really love this so far, and cannot see what you do next. I am so confused as to what happened exactly with Jim and Pam, which I love - makes me want to keep reading. And the kids seem super cute.

Updateeeeeeee!

Please continue this! I love a good angst-filled story, as long as it has a happy ending! (hint hint) ;)

I hope real life for Jim and Pam isn't like this. I hope they can work it out in your story. Very nice job.

I loved it. And I wasn't expecting to. I clicked on it out of sheer curiosity, and then immediately dismissed it and read the first paragraph anyways. By the third paragraph you had me hooked, and there was no going back. Please continue... I can't wait to see what happens. :)

Note to EmilysList:

QUESTION:  How can I love this so much when it's so angsty and I want fluffy right now?

ANSWER:  I am, apparently, your bitch.  Furthermore, Colette is a bad influence.

More, please.  Right away.  That is all.

Okay... This is different, specially now in the mist of all the hapiness! But I'm intrigued anyway... Keep posting, I want to now what happens at dinner and why they broke up!

My heart hurts a little right now, but in kind of a good way. Something like this is always possible, with relationships. I get impatient when people say that no such thing as a happy couple exists, and surely Jim and Pam will be divorced sooner or later. Happy couples do in fact exist and not everyone breaks up. Misery isn't automatically the most realistic option.

But marital problem stories done right are a whole different kettle of fish. If you can do it so that the problems and the outcome feel organic, and true to these characters, I will raise my hat to you. Even if you have them end up apart, which will hurt my heart, I can't lie.

Did Jim cheat? Who's Moira? I'm a little afraid. Angst for its own sake isn't my thing, it has to feel earned and true. Contrived roadblocks that are only created because of the mistaken belief that happiness doesn't exist just annoy me. But based on this chapter, you're probably a better writer than that, so I'm not too afraid.

Children are difficult to write, but they don't come off overly cutesy or unrealistically unrealistically precocious, here. Kudos for that.

But yes, this is most certainly an intriguing beginning and I'm eager to read more.

Oh my gosh please continue this. I want to hate you for writing angst like this right after the wedding, but it's too good. Please post the next chapter soooon.
