This was beyond cute, and your Lucy is written very believeably. I also loved your first person Jim. Wonderful little story.

This is adorable, kaat. I think it's really hard to capture small children in a way that feels real but you've done it here! And your first-person Jim is great. It sounds and feels just like him. I love how he had to be grandma, and a little sister, and a dog, and he's just playing along. Sweet and wonderful. Good job!

Kaat, if I had a Lucy, I'd want another one, too.  You've presented a lovely family portrait.

Okay that was so freaking cute I could cry. I think Lucy deserves a series of her own, what do you say? DO IT :)

really really beautiful
Love the way you did Lucy
When she said Mommy was Sleeeeeping, it reminded me of Michelle from Full House
"Quiet! The baby is sleeeeeeeping"

oh wow, that was so adorable. lucy is definitely the right amount of obnoxious and over energetic yet so adorable and perfect, too.

i love the line where lucy exclaims 'it's beating' and how pam asks for the pretend jello giving explicit reasons why. and lastly, jim's looks just for pam, his concern and love - beautifully done!

great chapter, keep going with this, i didn't check to see if it's a one-shot or not, but i think you could really do a lot more with this adorable little clan of three (and four-to-be!).

So completely adorable. Although i laugh, because they only have one kid. I just spent the week with 10 toddlers. And next week, 8 babies. Ha, one kid.

Although I also gotta admit, there's one day a week when the older ones get to go to ballet, and I absolutey treasure those 20 minutes when I only have the boys. (and then there's also playball and music... I'm so always looking for ways to get rid of those stinkin kids)

This made me smile and smile - so warm and sweet, and incredibly well-written! The adoration Jim and Pam have for each other and for (the incredibly cute) Lucy is so tangible, and that makes me happy in a way I haven't really felt reading fic in a while. :) Thank you so much for this.

Oh happy day...this is the first time I've been able to use my computer to access MTT in soooo long and what should I find, but this glorious piece. So pretty and sweet.
