OMG, this was so adorable! I enjoyed every minute of this story. Your characterization of Cece was flawless! This last chapter was my favorite; I can imagine that adjusting to a new baby is really difficult (both for a big sister AND for her parents) and I love that you've captured both Cece and Pam's frustrations. You wrote Pam just how I would picture her. Overwhelmed and frustrated and trying so hard to be a good mom to BOTH of her girls. This story was such a treat to read and I greedily await the next story from you. P.S. I LOVE the name Maddy! It's actually on my personal list of potential baby names. Here's hoping Season 8 will bring us a second Halpert Baby!

What a great story. Sometimes it's nice to see things from the child perspective. It give insight as to how they're feeling and what they're thinking.

So sweet it hurts, in a very good way. And it is kind of scary that you understand a 3 year old that well. Just sayin'.

Thanks for a great read.

Aww. I wasn't expecting you to add to this, but it's still super sweet. "That's how Mr. Bear feels. He's just saying." Love it. :)

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY, I have been hoping and praying for an epilouge, and you didn't disappoint!!! This is serioously the cutest, most adorable story I have ever read. Everything about this was perfect. Cece throwing sand, the way Jim teases Cece... too many awesome moments to mention. Please write more - in general ;)

Kaat, this was an absolute delight.  I'm amazed by your talent.  I would love Cece and her family to pay us another visit :)

Oh my God! I've never had a chapter dedicated to me before! I'm honored, thank you so much! I'm so excited that you did the epilogue. It's perfect. Completely realistic and I love it so so much! I definitely can see Cece getting mad and I love how she calls it a bubbly feeling and she needs to get rid of it. I like that Pam was stern with her and understanding at the same time, something I can really see her being. I felt so bad for Cece through this whole thing, and for Pam who most definitely seems like she's on the verge of tears there for a minute. I laughed at the showering part, very well put and it's so cute that Cece thinks her mom's talking about the laundry room. I like that Pam makes plans to have Pam and Cece dates, good compromise while also making her child realize that she can't be throwing sand. And I literally awed out loud at the end. Her apology to Maddy, the pat on the head, holding her hand, I love it! I'm going to be rereading this story for a long long time. Your voice of a four year old is perfect, and that she sounds like a little bit of Jim and a little bit of Pam, it's so impressive. Thanks again for the shout out in your author's note. :-) I hope you're inspired to write more things soon! If I could give you more than a 10 rating, I so would!
