Ouch :'( Even AU, it doesn't feel any better. *sigh* But, because it's AU, I'm hoping things start looking up for our boy, Jim. At least this time around, Roy is an ex-fiance. /hopeful
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! It's hard when writing AU to not just jump right to the happy ending. I think they need a little angst, though, to make the happy ending that much sweeter.
