This was such a delight to read! The entire bar scene with Jim coming to Pam's rescue, and her writing on his back (side note, Roy is the worst) was so lovely - and then the misunderstanding/near miss, which is just so very them. But I'm so glad they *actually* spoke to each other and cleared it up! I really liked the nod to that at the end. The Michael/Dwight prank is also absolutely genius, and the way you've written their reactions is hilarious. This was such a brilliant (and nicely wrapped up) AU!

Always love to visit other ways Pam and Jim first connected and this one was a lot of fun. Gets right to how they seem to communicate on a similar level right from the start. Lots of funny Jim lines and the bonding over a prank which was quite a thing to envision.
Of course there would be angst over miscommunication but with the resolution all was good in the world of Pam and Jim. The little nod to the alternate universe of this story that is the real universe of what we know was like a perfect little wink too.
Nice job.

Tons of fun with this next chapter. Jim and Pam getting into a groove with each other. The subtle angst with both of them thinking the other one is taken was done perfectly. However what's better was they were finally honest with each other about the assumptions they made. Their timing may have been a bit off, but not nearly as much as in canon and I LOVE that. The nod to canon about that was great too.
To end it with the cuddled up together in bed was just lovely. Great job with this one. It was a ton of fun that's for sure.

Ah! The new job was at Dunder Mifflin! Oh, Aly, you clever devil. ADORBS. Of course the universe has bigger plans for Jim and Pam. And it's lovely to see their issues easily resolved with clear communication. The easy happily ever after they deserved, dammit.
The prank is diabolical, too. Michael would absolutely buy that, and it would make sense, because Dwight is absolutely the guy who would put post-its on someone's car and then sign them.
Bet you Greg Daniels would have found a way to stretch this story out for four seasons, too. Nice work. This was fun.

Ugh this was so so cute. First of all I am DYING at Jim and Pam's prank on Dwight. That was brilliant. "It very clearly says it's from you" hahaha. And I love how Jim figures out that Pam waited for him to show up for work. Ugh. That captured the feel of the show so perfectly. This was such a great story, aly!
