This was a very insightful piece. I liked the small details like the manicure & and the thoughts like "What the hell? Who eats that?" I wish they would give Karen some moments like that in the show. Make her more human.

Oh, the 'yes' that launced a thousand fanfics.... at least they gave us something hopeful (for Pam & Jim fans anyway) to hold us over for 2 weeks.
And my heart does break for Karen a little -- and your story just breaks it a little more. Nicely done.
