Guess what, baby?!  It's the weekend, so life is gonna get better, right?  I'm glad that writing is therapeutic 'cause I'm enjoying reading :)  I love those two scenes--the prank/sombreros and Jim admitting that he still has feelings.  Guh.  How must it have been for them to watch that?!  Looking forward to more (although I'm hoping that you'll be writing because you're happy).

One little thing that I noticed upon re-read.  I think you may have missed a word here--"give" maybe?  She is suddenly very concerned that she is about to herself completely to this man, and she is ready but she is cautious.

Really well done, Pam Beagsly.  Jim may be frustrating to write, but you really captured him here.

Such a pleasure to read all three chaps in one sitting.  Keep writing!  Your characertizations are really excellent.  I could envision everything as I read. 

Yes!  Wow!  This chap just flew by, Blue.  I'm pleasantly surprised at how it played out.  It broke my heart that Pam laughed after Jim's confession.  It was understandable, though, and consistent with her personality.  Now...what's the girl going to do?!

Danielle, you are a wonder. Wow--what a great chap. Once in a while as I read a story I can hear the characters' voices as I read the dialog. I felt that here. The little first-date details were so achingly real and sweet. From start to finish, this just oozes with love.

Author's Response: Thanks so much, Nancy! Is it weird that I can hear their voices as I write these? I haven't written a first date story, mostly because there are so many of them, and there's only so many ways to say the same things and apologies, but I love the idea of showing little things that they might remember from it, once things got settled and they made their way back to being friends again. I can't tell you how happy it makes me to see that you enjoyed what I've written. You're so great, too, my friend. Thank you so much. :)

I figured a little baby like Cece's age would be scared of Santa, especially after seeing so many photo's of kids screaming when they meet Santa at the malls that were posted on those fun time waster sites.
