What a great idea for a story, one I could actually see happening on the show.  We know Ryan has no trouble speaking his mind, even to Jim.  I also loved that you picked up on the vibe in the break room scene in Ben Franklin, where it was clear that Ryan and Kelly are actually the functional couple, while Pam and Jim are spinning their wheels and playing games.

 Great idea!

Summary: Thrown together during one of Michael's work functions, Pam finally lets Jim know how she feels. Post-The Negotiation and contains mild spoilers for upcoming episodes.

You know what I love about this?  It's exactly how it would (should) unfold on the actual show.  'Cause as much as we want to follow them home and watch them make out, it probably not going to happen.  Since the viewers are supposed to be kind of "flies on the wall" of the office, it's realistic that we would be able to witness the conversation during the challenge, but then nothing again until Monday morning, when both are acting strangely and we think we know why, but then it turns out to be something different.  Awesome idea, especially since most fics tend to take the documentary conceit out of it.

I hope you're planning to continue!

Summary:

This is an idea I've had for a long time. It is inspired by the very end of the Six Feet Under series finale (hence the title), and it seems that the 55 word style would be perfect for it. Each chapter will focus on a different Office character. 20 chapters are planned.

I do not own these characters, and would not do this to them if I did. No copyright infringement intended.

This is beautifully done!  Angela crying the hardest at Oscar's funeral really got to me.  For some reason, the dynamic in the Accounting corner fascinates me!  Question: What made you decide to change some of the dates of birth?  For most of them, I see you've stuck with the actor's birth year, but you made Toby, Dwight and Phyllis younger.  It just surprised me, because Toby and Dwight definitely seem more like they're 40 than 32, to me.  Just wondering!
