Ok, I never review. I know, bad reader. But um... how much smuff does it require? Tons. Tons. I live for smuff. =) Of course, I did just get done watching the rerun of Money... so that may have something to do with it...

So I'm normally not really a fan of stories that are so completely AU... but wow. This story is such an exception. It's like crack. I swear. I saw the update pop up in my email and I told myself to wait until after work. Then I told myself to at least wait until my lunch break. Yeah... neither of those stuck. Heh. Can't wait for the next chapters!

Ahhhhh. You know, a good night's sleep did wonders for my take on the finale. And this right here? Has helped it ten times over again. I think my favorite part of it is that it isn't overly angsty from Pam's pov. (I got enough of that in my head from the Toby photo session.) It's just sweet and loving and comfy like I know the two of them to be.
Author's Response: I had a slightly more positive take on the finale than anyone else I\'ve talked to. I think there was lots of development in their relationship even if it didn\'t instantly result in a proposal.\r\nThe fact that this helped at all....is wonderful. Thank you very much.
You had forgotten that this parking lot was haunted.
A bit of Jim's introspection after Toby's party. Spoilers for the finale, obviously.

Wow. Just wow. This part in particular was soo beautiful:
"Fireworks can’t cauterize the wounds of spirits from the past. Smiles can’t stop you from tripping over casino dice when they’re littering the pavement. Ferris wheels can’t take you so high that you don’t recognize the exact spot where you bled a single tear and the contents of your chest. You can turn your head and kiss her forehead but your periphery can still make out the chalk outline where a part of you died two summers ago."
I for one, would like a follow-up. =)
Author's Response: Well I'm not sure about a follow-up, but we'll see ;) I'll be doing some other post-finale fics, so maybe you'll find something there. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

"Maybe I'll keep going?"
Oh... no two ways about it. This is easily one of the cutest post finale fics I've read. I simply adore everything it chooses to be. =)
Author's Response: Thank you, ma\'am!

Oh, I'm thoroughly enjoying this story. Every time you update with a new chapter, I go back and reread the entire thing because I just enjoy it that much. You really use such lovely turns of phrases. Amazing. And this part is stunning:
“You’re my favorite, Pam."
“Your favorite what?” she asked, grinning madly despite it all.
“My favorite.” he repeated warmly, as though it explained. “My favorite everything.”
Also? There was a part in this chapter that reminded me of a song I thought I'd recommend: Joshua Radin - Growing Up To Do.
And speaking of songs... the Billy Joel song you're using for chapter titles has always been a favorite of mine.
Author's Response: Aw, thank you! I\'m glad you\'re enjoying the piece; I\'ve been having a blast writing it. Ooh, and I checked out the Joshua Radin song, as well - I really liked it. Thanks so much for reviewing!\r\n
