9 Loved it! You didn't over do the holiday fluff at all; and now I really want to see this rubber turkey. Is it like a rubber chicken?

Author's Response: Thanks TWSS! :) I'll admit, I spent a fair amount of time brainstorming words that rhyme with Jim. And yeah, I like to think a rubber turkey is like a rubber chicken, but bigger. And chubbier. And if anyone would know where to find one, it would be Michael.

I thought that it was so cute; and I don't know if this is the ending, but it works great as one...it works so well. It's just so easy to picture the two of them in this fic. :)

I seriously love the alternating Jim/Pam thoughts and whatever.

this was hotter than oil could possibly be. (That sounds like a pick up line gone wrong.)

Wow -- really?? It's so great to hear that! For some bizarre reason, I like writing angst more than I like writing fluff/steam/smut (not that I don't also enjoy writing those). So once I've got the angst settled, I always worry that everybody'll lose interest (forgetting that I'm a bit of a freak in my love of angst, hee). In any case: it's great to hear that you're enjoying the story so much! (Though I have to admit that it took me a second to get your oil comment -- what can I say? It's late here, and I'm sleepy, lol.)

Heh, as I mentioned in a previous review, I stole that line from my husband. (I swear, the Jim lines I use that get the most comments from reviewers are those that I cribbed from Mr. Girl7, lol.)
So glad you enjoyed the chapter -- as for the next one: Welllll....this story has sort of become my albatross (totally, totally my fault, though), and while the last chapter is written, I can't get it to ring true for me. A look at what might have happened between The Job and 'round about Money. Lots of steam in the beginning, then some angst for good measure.10 OH. MY. GOD. If you do not get the next chapter out tonight, I might DIE -spazzing out-
I didn't see the "angst" warning, and I was ready to just be done with reading a nice fluffy fic about bed sheets, and then I saw the whole "GREEN PANTIES"-
Caught me completely off guard... it's amazing.
But seriously. I think that I may die without another installment before bed :-P
10 I LOVE how you split the story so that we get both Jim and Pam's POVs. And it's always bugged me that Pam never really tells Jim how insanely in love with him she is.
So it was worth the wait. But I would really like to push you to that birthday epilogue ;-) I think that it'd be some of the hottest Jamfic ever.
