10 so, i've been lurking on MTT since the beginning of S4, and never commented on anyone's fic (i only just created an account last week!). but i had to come out of my hiding and comment on your fic.
between the splashes of previous interactions that you throw in, mixed with all the excitement of future jim/pam, you've created one simply AWESOME story. i feel this is it really would be for them in the future. and since we have no idea when that real future is going to start again (dang strike!), i am so fortunate that i discovered this fic -- NO, that you are writing this fic! -- because i have something to look forward to reading while waiting for the network execs to take their heads out of their tuchus'!
i really do need to figure out how to make sure i get notified on when this story gets updated instead of just checking back here everyday from my computer's bookmarked sites!! wonderful job, i simply can't wait till you update again! please take my stalker-ish comments with a grain of salt, i just had to let you know how much i love reading this! :)

And all her other stuff, too!) so I can't tell you how incredibly cool it feels to have the shoe on the other foot. Wow - not stalkerish at all...just very flattering! So glad you're enjoying this because I'm loving the whole process of writing this story. The strike is hitting me so hard in the griefbone - I miss these characters like they're real people in my life. Sad, but true. Welcome to MTT! This is definitely a place of welcoming! 10 i think they should teach this stuff in high school. you must be a nurse.. i am, and i think about these things daily! i kinda want to print this out for my patient's families to read! (haha not the jim/pam parts, but the rest of how to survive in an ICU setting :-) good chapter!

Thanks for the the review! I'm glad to hear you think I'm on target. Nope. I'm not a nurse. But I must say, doctors and nurses OFTEN ask me, "Are you a medical professional?" I just spent a lot of years dealing with medical crises of one sort or another.

10 yay, Sweetpea! I've been hankerin' for a story from you ever since Allentown ended, and oh how I loved that story. I happened to be listening to "Strawberry Fields Forever" from the Across the Universe soundtrack while I was reading this, and your painting descriptions reminded me of Jude's painting of the strawberry for the record label.. I'm rambling, but it's a great movie. And a great story too! I'm kinda speechless, but this was beautiful, so thank you :)

We both try really hard to get characters right in all our stories; I'm glad you thought we got it this time! A lot of times for me, I wish I could say things like "Imagine Kevin saying this in his deadpan way" or "Imagine Andy and his adorably smarmy faces during this one." But I can't really, I just have to hope it comes through!

10 i know i reviewed already, but i must admit.. i totally sat at my computer and pretended these were my talking heads. to the imaginary cameras. in my living room. (lame.) but this worked so well b/c these are things the characters would certainly say. how can i be sure that this isn't mindy or b.j. who wrote this? it's too spot-on :-)

Kidding! I have no idea how to write Mindy, actually. Kelly, I can do, Mindy...nah. Not that I'd ever write Real Person Fiction anyway. I don't even read it. So it's okay I can't write her.
I'm amazed that you acted these out! Wow! While we aren't Mindy and BJ, we are the right genders, so...I can say that much for the similarity. We also beta for each other, and we're as tough as we can be on characterization. That's probably not to say that sometimes we get something wrong, but neither of us is afraid to say to the other "that doesn't sound like Pam" or "does anyone even say that word, much less Kevin?"
Also, we were able to take the best of our THs. We both wrote for each person and then chose the better one or mixed them together, and of course tried to fix any voice problems.
It's fine if you still want to think we're professional Office writers, though, but we aren't. :) But thanks for telling us about your imaginary cameras! You know, maybe the THs sounded good because you're a really good mimic, like Jim. Did you ever think of that?
Oh, and if you want to check out all the characters not being in character, you may want to check out my April Fool's story, where everyone is purposefully out of character.
I've reviewed a story or a chapter of a story more than once, too, by the way. I know lisahoo has also. It's not weird. It's normal.

10 this was very nice! i really enjoyed reading it, you could have fooled me saying you weren't a writer. i still think though, for the sake of everyone here, that i will just continue to read instead of post (but you definitely gave me something to think about!) :)

Honestly, I never thought I would ever EVER post anything. But this just struck me as something easy that I could do and I really wanted to share it. I'd say if you have a version of this, post it. I promise to read and comment! :) Plus I would love to see what other people come up with using this poem.
