Guh. I could just feel my heart breaking with this line: The difference was it didn't hurt so much with Karen. It didn't feel like he was going to die. Because right now, he had no heartbeat, no warm blood flowing through his veins as he accepted the box with resignation. They both need hugs...lots of them. Really great update, I'm addicted to this story. =)
Honestly? I was hoping for more angst...you're very good at it!! Heehee. But I'm glad they're talking again and that Jim finally made the first move. I like that Pam was waiting for him and daring him to talk to her. My favorite line: That's what you get, Jim thought. No more free babysitting either.. Very cute.

They really should talk things through...except I'm not so sure Jim would like that after Karen made him talk about his feelings all throughout their relationship. Lovely chapter. I'm glad they talked things through and I'm really glad Jim didn't ask. That last part was really sweet, with Pam assuring him that she'll say yes when it's the right time. My favorite lines: "I mean, can I see it?" and "I actually bought it for Dwight," Too cute! Looking forward to the next (last *sniffle*) chapter -- will it have the real proposal? =)

Oh I love Pam's email and I could just feel the butterflies and nervousness between them afterwards. The breakup sounds like it was really rough but I'm glad Jim was there for her afterwards. I'm really enjoying these vignettes, you're a great storyteller. =)
Oh. Wow. That was so incredibly touching. The beginning was really cute but it just quickly evolved into one of the most heartbreaking stories I've ever read. I ached for both Jim and Pam and how Pam would never get to meet his dad. And that last line...there are no words, so heartbreaking, so beautifully written. *tears*

Oh I loved this story! The first two were heartbreaking. Aww, Pam would have loved the calculator-in-Jello prank...Jim is so under-appreciated at Stamford. Heehee! Yeah, I agree that Jim and Pam would make fun of gamers, so the whole Call of Duty thing was baffling. And that last one was great. Secret hand holding is so adorable. =)

Sometimes, still, he would wake up in the middle of the night just to make sure that she was okay, that there was no blood. And only when he had made sure of it, made sure that it was just her, clean and peaceful, did he close his eyes and fall back asleep.

Awww. I'm a Karen fan and I loooved this story. Drunk!Jim is just the cutest. I really do wish Pam would have texted him again...or that Jim would have responded.
Really love this one too. I like the way you write Karen, she wants Jim but at the same time she realizes that she can't have him. Loved this line: Jim Halpert might be single, but he was definitely, completely unavailable. and the part where she says, "Yeah, well, I’d try act like it wasn’t a big deal too if a guy who’d told me he loved me when I was engaged to someone else came to be later and told me he had a girlfriend.” Oh, and when she realizes that Jim probably didn't have anyone to talk to about this, so she's the one who listened to him. So yeah, I really did like Karen. Heehee. =)
