I'm really enjoying this story, but I feel like I have to clarify something - the morning after pill won't actually make you not pregnant if you already are, it just keeps sperm from fertilizing the egg. You're thinking of the abortion pill, which isn't sold in the US. The morning after pill does not kill anything. Sorry to nitpick, but I actually teach classes on this sort of thing to incoming college freshmen, and it's a dangerous misunderstanding that keeps a lot of girls from taking the morning after pill.

Seriously though - great story, I'm really enjoying it! :)

Author's Response: Thanks for clarifying and thanks for reading! Clearly I\'ve gone through 3 1/2 years of college without knowing that, and I was a bio major for two of those. lol(sad really). But I do know a few girls that have thought the same thing that Pam thought, mainly because the clinics didn\'t really explain anything, just handed the box of pills over and told them how to take them. Thanks again, I might work that into next chapter or the one after so Pam can throw that back in Angela\'s face.

This is very nice - you've done an amazing job in very few words! I really liked that the teal teapot is always there, but you don't beat the reader over the head with it. Just a quick nitpick - I think you meant four o'clock, not four a clock.

As someone who recently got engaged herself, can I just take a minute to tell you that this is EXACTLY what it's like? I was distracted by the sparkly thing on my finger for WEEKS afterward. I almost got into a wreck in my car because I was admiring it in the later afternoon sunlight. :)

And the thing with Jim being ready to get married right away is pretty nice, too, cause that's how a lot of guys are when they propose - for them, the hardest part is done and they are ready to get hitched, like, NOW. And I love Pam at the end.
