I can't get enough. It's spectacular! I can't wait for Jim to just have his way with her... even more so, I can't wait for them to finally confront this with words. What a great story.

I just wanted to let you know that this story has developed into my favorite Jim/Pam fic of all I've read. It's gorgeous, and I'm so enthralled by each chapter that I don't even notice the time pass by as I read it. I'm disappointed it will be ending after just one more chapter, but I look forward to reading whatever else you put out in the future.

Is there life and love after Jam?Well, I've been waiting for this final return to Jim and Pam, and it's absolutely lived up to my expectations. Even though that Fun Run deleted scene is just about the sweetest thing ever, it's a far time away from your story, and I can still believe how you've had things fall apart later. My heart aches to think about it... I believe I've included that in previous reviews, but it just keeps making me feel that way. Of course, I love angst, or I wouldn't keep reading.
I really want to see a grand gesture from Pam on The Office to eliminate that doubt, because it's still in the back of my mind, admittedly. I am still a little on Jim's side in all of this. But are we supposed to assume that it's been dealt with in private? I don't know. Until then, I might always wonder .

Author's Response: Yeah, that\'s kind of what I figured, too. Fun Run happened in fall of \'07 and my story doesn\'t even really start until summer of \'09. Lots can happen in two years, right? No, callisto won't be the only one to say it... I want forgiveness too. But I also want closure. I want it both ways! Ahh. What I don't want is for Pam to say they were never right for each other, so I hope that's not how it ends.
Ugh, I have tried and tried to convert myself with this story, and I love it, but there's no doubt I'd sadly be devastated if it actually turned out this way outside of MTT. But I can't wait for your next story, wendolf!

Jim's doubts, yes... that's what I need to hear for the whole thing to really come together. I think the hardest part about reading a story like this is thinking about the idea that Jim's heart could have changed. I mean, I know this is a fictional story (The Office itself, and also just this fic), but Jim's heart is a pretty consistent character of its own, and it's the last one I want to see take another path. But of course it's possible, and it would probably be one of the most intriguing (and sad!) changes to witness. So, please, tell me all about it.
Author's Response: Oh, I think his heart is consistent -- that might be part of the problem. He hasn\'t stopped loving Pam, he\'s just realizing that the love he feels for her (and maybe the way he\'s held onto the pain of their early years) is a little unhealthy. I\'ll say it again: if Jim and Pam dealt with some of these issues during season four, this story would never play out like this. I\'m just \"what if\"ing that they didn\'t. She waits to feel regret or guilt or something else besides this buzzing excitement.I agree with what everyone has said - that was beautiful, and I would love to read more should you have anything planned. As an angst junkie, I hope it keeps coming in fanfic land despite all the happiness going on in the actual show.

Ah, I miss spring, summer, warm weather. Something about the open windows, eating on the hood of the car in the sun, it just adds a sense of calm to things. I love this story. I love that Jim takes care of Pam like we all know he did... the little touches are perfect.
I'm already lamenting the end of this.
Author's Response: Kate, I live in a part of the U.S. that is cold, gray, and miserable for about four months out of the year. Since we\'re now in about month three of those four months, I\'m beginning to long for sunshine and open windows, too. This is what draws me to city living as well. As much as it hurts to read this piece, it's impossible to ignore the reality of what very well could have been Pam's situation while living in New York. Once she found her own voice... sigh.
