Oh, I love this story so much! I love the sense of peace that you've given us in these last two chapters. Instead of the constant whirring of machine beeps that I imagine in the ICU, I was just hearing the silence of contentment in these. Yay for the feelings that are emerging!

Holy cow! Two chapters!!!! Very exciting. Like others have mentioned, it was great to see them in a new, non-stressful environment. Even the stairwell was a nice change! :-) Glad some things are getting out in the open, like the discussion of the rings and how much the supplies cost. Funny how Pam had to use their cover story for those girls. I'm looking forward to see what happens when they check into the one last available room in the "hotel." Must be there by 3:00!!!

So glad you were able to give us some major updation, and hope you're feeling better!!!

Yup!  Two chapters!  And I'm home again today, so maybe I'll try to get another short one out.  We'll probably be seeing some more of the fangirls ... hmm ...And definitely more things will come out into the open!

I'm loving the quick updates! I didn't have time to leave a review for the last chapter, but I'm loving how people are noticing the "couple" and how supportive Pam is of her hubby! That will be interesting terrain for them to navigate. And, ooh, I'd love to know what Jim had to tell his mom during their alone time. It's so great how Pam is able to be alongside him through it all because she's experienced it before. Thanks for having them start to have a conversation about where their relationship has taken them so far.

Author's Response: Thanks so much, berrycakefan!  I am writing now.  (I write on my drive to work, to tell the truth!  Very little traffic & a long, pretty straight road ... don't tell the troopers, though!)  BUT I had an idea for a conversation between Pam & Larissa, so it's actually a future chapter.  Probably no post today.  I DO think we'll finally encounter Mr. H in the next chapter.

So, I created an account just to be able to bug you and say--this needs an update! STAT! Seriously, I'm loving this, and I love stories in general where people have to pretend to be married or dating, etc. Update!!!

I was toying with the idea of just letting this little story die a quiet death.  Didn't seem like anyone would be interested in it with things like I Just Wanted to Be Famous and June 10th up on the boards.  I do have some text written for the next chapter.  I keep revising the story line and getting nowhere.  I will try to get a chapter up in the next few days.  Mr. Blood is in California for a couple of weeks, so I should have some time to write...

First time reviewer here. I'm loving the story, and loved the huge progress they've made in their relationship lately.

One thing with this latest chapter, though. There are references to Jon/Jonathan and Jake in this chapter, so Jim's brother seems to be a bit inconsistent!

I've recently become obsessed with P&P, so I loved it! (Definitely agree about the BBC version--great!) Have you read the Mr. Darcy trilogy by Pamela Aiden? So great!

Author's Response: Funny you ask, I just got the second book (Duty and Desire)in her Darcy series from the library yesterday. I\'m only a few pages in, but I love seeing more of Darcy and Georgiana:) Any other reccomendations?
