I have a real soft spot for Andy; I can see the hurt and confused guy within the guy who goes into Dwight's car for evidence of wrongdoing. And I can certainly see the hurt and confused guy within the guy who punches a hole in the wall! It's tough out there for the kids (and grownups) who are different.
What a great character he is. He's fun to write about when I can kind of capture a particular moment in time. I don't think I've ever done much "current" with him beyond Talking Heads; I just don't know how to put him into an ensemble. Luckily, The Office writers know how to do that. ;)

Ideas for Cold Openings (the pre-title gags) always pop into my head. So these will be just a bunch of teasers that, hopefully, you will find funny. I don't know how many I will post but I'll keep putting them up as they occur to me.

(supposed to be a compliment) You have an unerring feel for character interactions - I am delighted and will avidly seek out your stuff. So happy! Honest to God, I thought to myself, "I sure am in the mood for another kgreene cold opener..." and there one was! Loved it, loved it. Though I am not sure about the Rain Man reference - Michael seems immature and a bit socially clueless at times...well...maybe that does fall under the autism spectrum...Again, I say: you write dialogue to perfection, to absolute perfection. Dare I say better than the actual writers?? I can really see the faces to match the scene - to a point where I am getting slightly confused sometimes. (real episode, or kgreene fanfic?)

I felt that it was kinda a stretch for Carol to think that initially but the more I thought about Michael the more I could see someone saying " Wow... this kinda makes me think of him in a way." It's not spot on for sure and there is exaggeration in the comparison but I thought it was funny enough to get away with. Thanks for bringing that up, that is a worthy point to discuss.
I guess it was mean to Donna, in that she was pretty much slavering openly over poor Jim, who was clearly not enjoying it...but hey! IF that would be her MO, then of course - not mean at all! Thanks for the laugh again.

Thanks again so MUCH, Kevin! I love Jim's trying not to "call on" Andy. Who is simply unable to give it a rest and always hits that glaringly wrong note. And, you mess with Dwight in a manner that is actually very respectful of him...finding stuff to be outraged about feeds his soul.

Whoa - NOW we are talking AU. I actually am enjoying this. I was trying to figure out why...then I realized that we all probably have some left-over resentment for Jim's miserable suffering during Pam/Roy. I think there's some small satisfaction seeing Jim lash out and control something, get some "power," even if it is in a horribly sick way that...hurts innocent people?? Geez. Maybe I'm the sick one.
Anyhow, kudos and write more soon. You have a fan firmly in your corner.
