I am totally digging this story! I can't wait to see what happens next. I'm loving that Jim is as smart as he is on the show and he knows better than to waste his time with Karen and Katy when he could be with Pam!
Oh, and as an aside, you SO brought me back with the Jungle Juice! I made it for a party with Everclear once and got SO hammered. I even got trashed on jello shots with Everclear. I just stay away from Everclear now. ;)

I hesitated to put that in the story, but then I remembered coming back to campus one night and telling somebody that I\'d had an awful day and really needed a drink, and they handed me a cup of Jungle Juice. I'm majorly digging on this story. I'm an AU junkie and you're definitely doing an awesome job with this. You came up with one of the most interesting and charming Jam meetings with this one and I've really been enjoying their courtship. Now, however, my heart is breaking for poor Pam and I want to smack Jim upside the head. I hope he gets his act together soon?

Oh my... I know I don't know you, so this may be out of line, but that was so evil! I mean, I would totally do it myself, but still... evil!
I am really enjoying this story. I think you've done an excellent job getting in the character's heads and portraying their relationship in a very believable way. I figure whatever the results of the test are, they will be dealing with repurcussions afterwards (admittedly, one result will have longer lasting repurcussions than the other). I'm so psyched to see you're continuing the saga (although... how firm are you on this being the final story? That just sounds silly!). Jim and Pam are so cute and funny and give me a relationship to aspire to!

Author's Response: I\'m pretty sure... very sure about this being the final story. But I\'m sure there are other stories for me to tell once this series is finally brought to an end. Oh fuck. I'm reaaaaaally glad you're still writing this. No matter how long we wait between chapters, it's well worth it when you do find time to add more. And this chapter fully lived up to the standards you've set. I love Jim and Pam's fully realistic hesitation/excitement at the prospect of parenthood and I also really like how the tables have turned - Pam has taken the lead on this and Jim gets to drag his feet a bit. I think it levels the playing field that she's not always the one doubting they are ready.

I really enjoyed this story! I don't think I have ever seen a premise quite like this and I'm really into it. I'm just sad this is a one-shot because it would be so interesting to go through the whole series with Pam and Jim being together, behind the scenes.
