Hi, finally all caught up with this and it was truly one of the most lovely things I’ve read. I love how you captured each of them so well through this third party observer/sometimes gentle push giver and it really painted all of these familiar characters in a new light that I just adored. Is it weird to say that I kind of loved Mose? Sometimes he’s a little bit weirdly sweet and you captured that so well!

And ofc, the way you write Jim and Pam is incomparable. The way they love each other and love loving each other is so palpable in your writing. I adore it and you and this. And Rex Manning.

I am just really amazed that you wrote these crossword clues. I never in my life would have guessed these. Also kind of love that part of the magic is the desk-if only Ronnie and Jim had had more time over it, who knows where they’d be now?

Author's Response: One thing I discovered in the process of writing this fic: it turns out it's WAY easier to come UP with a crossword clue starting from a word you want to get to then it is to figure out the word from the clue. True story!

This is adorable. I love when Jim and Pam get picked up and put somewhere new but we get glimpses of the relationship we know through reimagined dialogue and moments and things like that. Hi, you already know that I love this and why. But I would be so remiss if I didn’t come here and tell you again!

You just have such an incredible gift at making them sexy and fun but REAL and BELIEVABLE and how they’d act if they were together just the two of them. I love the connection they have to the band and how it means so much more than just a mutual appreciation of their music, but is a memory of a time when the music said what they couldn’t. Love love that line so much, by the way.

I also adore the way you make them crazy about each other because let’s be real, of course they would be! In the lavender haze of their relationship? (To borrow your borrowed words 😉) those kids would be non stop touching and enjoying and you write it so well. Especially the realistic touch of being fast and loose with protection. You’re so good at this. Write a million more.
