I hadn't read a story yet that dealt with the actual NY break-up scene(s). It was great to read, and a nice surprise. I didn't know what the story was really about based on the summary. I only read it because 1) it was written by you and 2) Karen and angst must mean a positive somehow for Pam. I am very glad I took a chance on it.

7 Poor Toby. I loved the part, though, where he'd write a memo but it wasn't the right thing to do, besides, he couldn't get the bulleting to format correctly. Very funny.
Eleven years of Pam Beesly's life. Some are better than others.great story! I enjoyed seeing the early days of Pam's relationship with Roy, and felt sad when I saw her neglected (and the symbolism of the yard being nurtured and then neglected, even by Pam).
It was hard for me to read in the middle, because you glossed over the Jim parts, so she seemed absolutely clueless and "clearly" (oops, I was wrong) had no love-feelings for Jim.
I had no idea you were going to change the outcome of Casino night. And then when they did have sex, I was afraid it was going to be unsatisfying for her. But I think that negativity was coming from Pam's viewpoint "he does this differently".
The ending was good. I was surprised that she wanted to long-distance it/take it slowly, but she's right, it is the correct decision for her. I loved how sincerely supportive she was of Jim's transfer to Stratford. And I'm glad Jim came around to her line of thinking.
And damn! There is Roy waiting for her and worried. That certainly makes the break-up part faster.
The Dunder-Mifflin employees take up online gaming, exercise, and hoagies. Jim leaves a lot of voicemail messages.10 Such a great story! I really loved Jim's messages - we got the witty repartee (spelling?) and some anxiety about if/when she was going to call.
So, they had sex on Casino Night? "Niiice." And he didn't run away? Awesome. It looks like these two kids just might have a chance.
9 I love this take you have on what Jim and Pam's life could be. I did have a low level sense of unease that something bad was going to happen (like him having a master's degree and working with other smart people would make Pam feel so inadequate that it'd drive a permanent wedge between them). I am very glad it had a happy ending. And that you weren't afraid for them to be childless.
This is a holiday inspired fic based on Season Two's Christmas Party. A look into what inspired Jim to get the teapot, and why Pam swapped Dwight for it. From there, it is an AU look at what happens when Pam realizes that Jim took back the infamous Christmas Card and why she's desperate to find out what Jim wrote.10 such a great story! The anxiety running through it, the payoff, and Pam's bravery. THANK YOU for not having a misunderstanding that set them back a few days/months. This was just perfect.
I think the ending of the chapter was great. And I gotta say, I just read all 11 chapters straight through and it makes me nervous everytime Pam starts doubting her relationship with Jim. Luckily, you never let that mood last long and it never ruins the whole trip or anything. She does love jim. And she'd told hom. And they're having a lot of incredible sex; even though they both know they aren't an official couple yet - 'cause Pam deserves a little grief and who am I time.
Can't wait for chapter 12~
10 Ok, I've just read three of your stories in a row, and decided I had to log in to finally review bc all of your stories have been awesome.
For this one? Their banter is amazing and I can just imagine their giant grins the entire talking head.
And in the flashes with their coworkers... Very funny and just spot on. Kelly's inappropriate comments and jim's reactions were the best.

10 I can't believe this is where the story ended! i knew it was unfinished, but argh! Right when Jim would have picked her up, seen that Roy was abusive, and finally found out that was why Pam said "I can't". Not that Pam didn't love him or didn't want to, but she *could not" break up with Roy.
I didn't need to see them resolve everything, I was just hoping to see Jim's pain when he made the realization. :)
I was very happy that it was Jim she called and she stuck with her request for a ride even though it was awkward with karen being in the background.

Oh! This chapter made me cry. Those girls made me cry. Man, jim realy has some soul-searching to do after learning all he did.
Ha! I just realized something. On Casino Night, Pam was a bit angry ("Why are you telling me this? What am I supposed to do with this?") and thrown for a loop. She had to work it out too (unfortunately he fled while she did it).
Can't wait to click on the next chapter. Though I have a feeling it'll be a few chapters before it gets happier.

'k. I just read around 16 chapters tonight (ahhh, it's been a very great night!). And I've been spoiled because I've been about to hit the "next" button at the end of every chapter. Til this one. *sigh*
I'm glad Pam and Mrs Halpert are getting along. I'm glad that Jim and his dad have kind of made peace (all I really know is Dad said I'm sorry, but surely he woke up and Jim apologizzed too). And I'm glad Pam confessed, and Jim responded simply with 'I do love you.' That was perfect.
I'm certain you can write smut. DISCLAIMER: I really don't know if you can write smut. But I'd sure like to read it. If you stay away from phrases like "his throbbing 8 inches", make the sex good for both of them, and maybe throw in a touch of laughter, you won't go wrong.
Looking forward to Chapter 42 (wow!).

They make it exactly one hundred and twenty-three hours.10 This was so great! Jim's self-imposed "exile", Pam encouraging him through it (no visiting on Saturday-a prime date day), Karen's angry visit, the great sex. Nicely done, thanks for sharing it with us.
Pam moved to New York instead of starting work at Dunder Mifflin. Years later she returns and she meets Jim, but they're at very different points in their lives.9 This was such a terrific story! I spent hours this weekend reading it and nothing about it disappointed. Well done!

I'm so glad Jim had these moments of love and tenderness with Pam. 2. i choose to believe this is the start of Pam's journey to realizing her True Love for Jim and will soon start to slowly end her relationship with Roy. I know I am spoiling the Chapters 2-12 that you didn't write, but, there you have it. :)
