Very much on point with the angst. I do wonder--you say it will continue with the episodes, but the arc you've sketched here emotionally is different than canon: Pam and Jim have talked a bit about the show, and Pam isn't single right now. So does that mean a different pace for their relationship going forward?

This is the kind of story that hits with big chunks of emotion and feeling and I have to almost sidle up to to let my brain process them. That's a major compliment to be clear. You do a great job of crystalizing despair here.

Well yeah Pam, Roy especially unemployed Roy, isn't a good housemate. You should look into changing that ;). Though that's really hard in lockdown...good luck to her! Good chapter.

Lockdown would 💯 make it easier to break up. Definitely. I mean, harder practically but much easier to notice emotionally. Good work! Nice air-five!

That's the thing. Let's say she gets better in 2 weeks. Still, they'd have to wait another 2 for her not to be able to give it to him. Will they wait this long, though?

Oh Jim. You better not get Covid. But it's very sweet of him, and also in character. I am glad Roy wasn't an ass. He isn't fundamentally a bad guy, just totally wrong for Pam. Good storytelling.

You may think you're bad at writing but you're not! It's a cute setup. I especially like the changes of perspective; I think they helped flesh out how the characters are doing. I'd love to see more!

I mean, I think at this point he knows what she wants and what he wants, so he might feel comfortable saying that--because the end isn't in doubt anymore, just the path. And that means he can relax and tease her, as he does once they're together in the show too.

I like this idea. If you wanted to do Karen finding it, you might consider even going on to others: Dwight and Michael seem like potent choices as well.

I like AUs where Karen being pissed is what brings Jim to his senses. This is a good fix it.
