Oh man. I did not expect the bread delivery scene. That was effin' priceless! I love how they are continuing to tease each other (and not just *that* way) throughout this whole ordeal. Two loaves. Heh.
Oooh yikes. I was already pretty stunned by the Pam's dad revelation and then Graham? Yeah. Clearly Pam's not the only one that forgot about that guy.

You did a wonderful job with the tenseness of the weather change. It was palpable and believable. Loved the call back to the extended cat metaphor, too.
I'm impressed there's one more chapter. That had a lovely calming feel, like a coda almost.

You know what is funny? That hangnail bit was a late edit. I had it as her nibbling on her lip but I'd used that later in the story. I could picture her nervous and going for her nails. So happy that it worked for you.
I think that was always Pam's struggle to think of Jim that way. She was engaged so she thought she couldn't. I'm sure it takes a lot to get used to.
I like things tidy - and Karen made things messy. I don't pretend to out write the writers - I just like to explore neater scenarios - that's all.

I really love the strange friendship that Jim, whether he likes it or not, actually has with Michael. You did a splendid job of showing that and weaving in the events of the episode.

Australia! Oh I'm so glad you brought that up. It's one of the loose threads in the show and it rankles me whenever I think of it. Love the do-over in the middle of the bar. You've got a great sense of the tension and excitement and nervousness and guilt and fear and relief and every other mixed emotion that these two are swimming in!
