BT, you are so incredibly clever and creative. Your chapters have just floored me in how you have taken tricky songs and completely wrapped them up in Jam. I just love it so much.

I love love love the symbolism of them doing it on top of Roy’s scattered paperwork. So satisfying. I mean, the entire was satisfying and so perfectly done. I just love your writing so much.

There is just so much to love about this chapter. While I appreciate the point they were making on the show, the distinction that he was not anything like Roy, that he trusted her, I REALLY like that you have him driving up there anyway. Not out of insecure jealousy, but because he needed to be near her. This is beautifully played out here and I love it so much.
Then. THEN. You have drunk being all adorable and he being all Jim and I died a little. And I'm going to quote my favorite two lines again because I can:
“I’ll make it worth it,” his tone has that husky richness that comes when he’s in the mood. It has anticipation unfurling in her abdomen like a sunflower greeting the dawn. --Stop. Just STOP. This is the Jim we all deserve.
"She wraps her hand around his base because he’s long and lean and there’s only so much of him that’s ever going to fit in her throat and that’s on physics." And THAT is one of my fave lines ever.
You know how I feel about your writing and this is just all sorts of perfect. I can't think of a better finishing chapter for our little project.

You've set this up so beautifully! Savannah is such a hazy, dreamy city, drenched in sweet tea and Spanish Moss and you have made me feel like I am right back there. I love it so much.

There is just so much delightful detail that you feel completely immersed. The Angela/Dwight/Oscar exchange was perfect and putting that description of Jim's laugh had me dying.

1 I love that the balcony is their little respite where they really connect and that you tied in the ‘not a bad day’ absolutely perfectly. All these little threads of information and characterization are beginning to wind together wonderfully and I can’t wait to see the end result.

Oh BT! I am so enthralled by this story! All the delightfully intricate details and canon elements woven so seamlessly together, it feels so original. Jim and Dwight working as a team is just perfect. I can’t wait to read all these clues unfolding like a flower in the coming chapters.
I mean, you promised a tub scene and oh my God did you deliver. Everything about this was perfect. Dwight, Oscar. Certain water sports in porcelain household items. Another body(!!)

I know I've told you this numerous times but I am obsessed with this story. You have given us a masterclass on how to weave intrigue and mystery with this ensemble of characters and have it feel so natural. It is so, so good.
I know I’ve probably said this before but the way you weave all of these details together and make it all so gripping and compelling is just so, so talented.
I’m literally holding my breath waiting to see what new twist or turn you are going to throw at us. I love it so much.
Also the rollercoaster of emotions Jim goes through in this chapter is brutal but that natural protective thing that kicks in at the end is absolutely delicious. I just adore this story.
This story just keeps getting deeper and richer and it pulls me further and further under its spell. You did such a beautiful job conveying Pam’s hurt and his need to remedy it. Also, you are just incredible at weaving in that canon dialogue in such new and fresh ways.
We truly ALL benefited from Coley did and I love it. :)

1 This is so delightful, WW! I loved seeing what Thanksgiving would look like for them since we never got to see it. The office part was spot on and I really loved your take at the Beeslys. That felt very real and Jim’s response was perfect in his Perfect!Jim way. It looks like you guys had so much fun putting this together and I can’t wait to see what else you have in store!

1 I’m finally getting a chance to read this and I am really enjoying it. Your vivid imagery immediately fills my mind with the intricacies of this world you have created with our beloved characters. The descriptions of Madeleine, in particular, are creating this wonderful three dimensional sketch of your OC.
Also, as a lover of words, I fully appreciate when I have to look up something while reading and I have had to do so a couple of times reading this. So, thank you for introducing me to some new words and thank you for writing this.

Oh gosh, thank you. That means so much! I too am a lover of words and intricate prose, sometimes a bit too much. I always worry that I’ve trailed off into a jargon and synonym meadow and left my readers behind (especially when I use music terms, as I am a musician). But sometimes there is that lexical gap with a phrase that just can’t quite be replaced. Anyway, I’m really glad you are enjoying it and I do hope to write more sooner once work stops being horrendous and insane.
