I’m still fairly new to The (US) Office, but as a Brit, I was really into the UK version and wasn’t too sure about this upstart US reboot, even with Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s input. I’d seen a few episodes over the years, knew vaguely about the Jim/Pam storyline and that there was chemistry, but not really clicked on how good it was, and as for the rest, the little I’d seen? Well, Craig Robinson is Doug Judy in B99 to me, Rashida Jones - Ann Perkins in Parks and Rec; and I didn’t even know that Ellie Kemper and Ed Helms had been in it for several seasons, let alone James Spader and CATHERINE TATE?! Then I binge-watched it all the way through early in UK lockdown in Spring 2020 and suddenly it all clicked, and I fell hard for JAM. Really hard.
I’ve now watched some episodes several times, but I’m following via the Office Ladies podcast, so I’m really getting into the detail of the show itself as well as the love story.
In real life I have my own Jim (although his name isn’t Jim and he doesn’t work in paper, but he is lovely), two teenagers, a naughty Beagle and a cheeky Jack Russell. I work in the IT Industry.

Awwww now this was one spectacular chapter in your writing and I love the way you’ve given us character vignettes in what feels like a split screen. So so glad that Jim and Pam are finding their way back to each other. Worried about Isabel though, I hope she’s not going to do anything stupid!

Another Brit then! Always nice to have one of our own. This pleased me as I went to the “other” Uni in Bristol albeit rather a long time ago. So I hope we’re going to have some recognisable Brissle landmarks in this story!

I go to a Uni further south of Bristol in a pretty boring city, Bristol is a lot more recognisable and so I can play with the beautiful area.

Author's Response: I know! I really didn't want to write about that (or like writing it), but I needed to show that Jim would kinda be open to the world of porn if he was in a sex relationship like that. I promise there will be only be Jam sexiness from now on!
I liked this chapter, you started to get the characters introduced to each other and did it well. I also like the way you've incorporated lots of good Office and JAM elements into this. Nice work!
