Author's Response: I tried to avoid recognizable sites like even this one, but I agree it would. I think that's something like the premise of GodInThisChilis's Sky Blue and Black (to which I am obviously indebted).

I definitely see every one living in Jim's drafts folder, poor Jim. I think you could make this into a series taking place at different points and showing Jim and Pam's email drafts, like 5 emails Pam writes after casino night, 5 emails Jim writes on June 10th, 5 Pam write after Jim comes back to Scranton, etc. Though of course it's great as the little oneshot it is 😉

Author's Response: Hey, thanks! I'm probably going to keep it as a oneshot for now (I really like having only one WIP at a time) but you've definitely given me some interesting ideas if I do decide to change that at some later point.

I actually threw together that #office31challenge at the last minute but I'm pleased you're working it into this fic which is great so far. LOVE the role you have Karen in here. Gotta stop at this point but I'll be back with more reviews and jellybeans later!

This has been such a fun read so far, I'm really impressed how well you have interwoven the secret agent premise into the S3 storyline.

I'm glad you found us, and thank you for sharing your first JAM fic with us, trust me they can be addictive. Oh my poor Jim in the first part of this fic, a little difficult to read but definitely could see his heartbreak manifesting in such a way. I really enjoyed the Pam side, I could definitely see her going through this thought process and coming to the conclusion that she needs to make big changes. Looking forward to reading more from you! 😀

Always a fan of fics that take place in that irrigation room. And I don't want to spoil for other readers but this fic's take on what their "status" was at the time of their Schrute Farm stay is definitely different and interesting. Hope to see more soon!

A great answer to the bad date challenge! When I try to imagine a potential bad first date, I mostly imagine external forces that are making it bad but you did a great job of making it internal, I love this line:

"There were a lot of bruises. Not all of them were fresh, but they all hurt."

Because that's definitely where they were by the end of S3, so it only makes sense that that's getting in the way of both reconnecting and becoming more than that. The chips and the note were perfect

I think you have a great start here, really impressed considering English is not your first language! I think you have great metaphors and I love the exploration of Pam's parents not having the happiest life and how that may affect our little Pammy an her relationships.

Thank you for crossing-posting here! This is such a compelling start. As I said over at A03, Roy was most definitely capable of doing something like this after his bar outburst, and the way you have Pam react to it very much fits her character. I love when Pam and Angela have moments of (uneasy) friendship so I love the role you have Angela here.
Can't wait for the next chapter!

Just read this straight through and absolutely loved it. Very interesting and different premise that stays true to the JAM story (I marvel at how well you can transport our beloved pair to all these different worlds and still feels very Jim and Pam). As everyone has said the powers you assigned to Jim, Pam and Roy were all wonderfully fitting to their character and I loved how you fleshed out the barely seen Mark and never seen Larissa into fully realized characters.

I think this story is great on its own but I can't help but want more from this universe of everyone having powers and maybe learning what powers other character from the show have!

Anyway fantastic job as usual!

Larissa has been fleshed out in my head as a smart smart-ass since I wrote Irish Spring back in... whenever that was, I'm too lazy to check. :) I have fun bringing side characters to life, and I didn't really want to involve anyone else from the office because, frankly, I don't have fun writing any of them besides Jim and Pam (and David Wallace, to a much lesser extent).
