I love this - I love the analogy of Pam and Karen to grape soda and water.

10 Perfect. First - I loved how in the first two chapters you switched back and forth between their two POVs but then the last chapter they kind of merged together. And I especially love this line:
"Oh?" The fact that she'd referenced the time when he'd been in Stamford caught him off guard; it was in the realm of the things they didn't mention - like Casino Night, those moments on the deck of the Booze Cruise, it was just too raw; it was one of those wounds he'd long since accepted would never heal.

5 Wow. Just. Wow. That was really good. I was shocked and had to re read it to make sure I read it right the first time. The whole concept made for a great backdrop!

A shockingly accurate post-cocktails fic written during the hainous. Jim rebuffs Pam's apologies and while distraught at the grocery store she meets a handsome stranger who catches Karen's eye too.
EPILOGUE ADDED :) STORY FINISHED! I had to change it to Explicit Sexual Content so avoid the epilogue if that isn't really your thing.

I think that with the info. we've been given so far this is a really good speculation as to how everything could play out in a few weeks.
I love Jackson...and I'd like him even more if he and Karen ran off to Vegas and left Jim and Pam alone.

This was perfect. I love your imagery here. The way his hands are bracing himself on the snack machine - sliding down the buttons. It's quiet and simple and that's really how THEY are. Beautiful. I love your writing.
