This is outstanding characterisation, both of Jim and, indirectly, of Pam. The tiny moment where Jim can deduce so much from Pam's pain as her coworkers act like she doesn't exist (a canonical complaint) was incredible. I actually copied it down for reference. The only things I will mention are beginning with a name, as I find myself more drawn into the story that way. But the overall characterisation and message was incredible. Well done!

Very entertaining. I like the callbacks to how their relationship built up over several years, as well as the basis of friendship that makes their bond so profound. At times, I did want the POVs not to change (like not cutting to Jim's thoughts halfway), so that we could have a tighter POV as a whole. I think that would better suit Jim and Pam, who suffered from so many misunderstandings because they cannot read each other's mind. A nice story!

I was wondering why so many fanfiction stories mentioned Pam teaching Jim to drive stick. I haven't yet reached the episode where Jim reveals this was all a ruse to spend more time with Pam. This was a funny oneshot! Only advice would be to correct the dialogue tag punctuation. I copied down this line: 'She giggled, and his heart melted, as it so often did whenever she did just about anything.' That is classic pining Jim! Love to see it!

This is very funny. I could picture Pam nosing around his room very well, and her giggling as she finds incriminating information. Nice insertion of some background details, like Christmas routines and birthdays. Yes, Jim comes across as enormously thoughtful when it comes to presents. Also, it is difficult to pull off the present tense consistently in a story, but you have managed this well. I am a grammar geek, and I cannot do it, LOL. Nice story!

I enjoyed the prose very much. Just a slight wobble near the end when you switched to Pam's POV as she perceived Jim and then switched back again. Single POV is often the most powerful. Great use of imagery with the yoghurt lid, how Pam affects him, and how his typical indecision and aimlessness turns into determination. I enjoyed this!

I can totally understand your point by re-reading that part again. I should have waited 'till the next chapter before writing about Pam, but i was really exited with the idea bc i was rewatching the episode and that scene always makes me soft hahaha
