Jim's willingness to admit he was a bit disappointed she wasn't pregnant because he just knew this was it, was great. I love that he gave her 'Knocked Up'. Great touch. Excellent job, as always. Lovely to see this back, as you know. I do think there are people in Pam's family that would have been glad to see Roy go. It is not very hard to see when someone is not treating a person you love as well as they should, but sometimes you just have to sit back and let them know they need to change the situation. So I really like that Jim ran into some people from Pam's life that seem to have had that experience.
Also, I can't be the only one that would love to see drunk Pam again, right?
I love that this story is back and look forward to reading the remaining months.

I love the visual you painted here. Not having been anywhere near the city, I had no problem creating the scene in my head and that is one of my favorite things about reading, so thank you for that. There is a reason you are among my small list of favorite authors.
Also, can I say how refreshing it is to read something that doesn't suggest that Pam discovering who she is as an artist in New York and being with Jim are mututally exclusive?

I have been waiting all day to get home and read this chapter and I must say, totally worth the wait!
I love the how naturally you capture their interaction here. From the simple gesture of Pam hooking her finger through Jim's belt loop to the way they so easily play with each other over the fortune cookies. I am absolutely looking forward to chapter 3. Thank you, once again, for sharing.

I may have squeed, just a bit, when I saw this was updated. Once again, you managed to take me completely into this little world in which Jim and Pam found themselves. I feel like I'm repeating myself here, from my other reviews, but it all still holds true.
I love the way Jim is quick to support her in what she loves and that Pam has to coax it out of Jim in order to do the same. That seems so true to character to me. Jim has long been supporting Pam's desires and I can see him having trouble adjusting to being on the receiving end of that, simply because he is no more used to it than she was before Jim came along.
Okay, now I'm rambling. I'll just end with very well done, as always. Beautiful job from beginning to end.
