GodInThisChilis--Tra la, tra la, you have made me so very blissfully happy once again. This is lovely. The closing line is simply perfect, and I love how you subtly wove Pam's actual dialoge from less-than-perfect "Ben Franklin" into your more-than-perfect story. Can't wait for more! --CH

Author's Response: As always, thanks so much for your review. I'm glad it made you happy. There will be a little more dialogue dumping, so stay tuned.

You slay me, GodInThisChilis, but I couldn't think of a better way to go.

Bravo, bravo! Now if I can just sit tight to wait for the next chapter (doubtful)--don't leave us on the ledge for too long! Lovely writing, as always, and the balance between sultriness and emotion was perfectly maintained. Wonderful! --CH

You're in timeout if I don't see sunshine, roses, and face-to-face lovin' between these two ASAP.

But take your time, my dear. The wait is so painfully fun it's not even funny. Well done, well done! --CH

Ohhhhhh GodInThisChilis, why oh why do you rock at life?

This was just incredible! I love how you wove the details of other episodes into your own story, and the writing is just so skillful (seriously, your chat room dialogue is so spot on I thought you cut and pasted from a fandom!). Bravo, bravo, and as always, you leave us all wanting more! -CH

Author's Response:

Well, I'm not so sure I rock at life...I cleaned my garage today and feel like I just moved piles of stuff around into different piles...but thanks :)

I'm so glad you like the fan chat. I'm never sure if I'm being too stereotypical. More soon and thanks again!

YESSSSSSSSSS!!!

I should prod you more on the message boards if this is what I get in return. Well done, well done, I loved every minute of it! I especially loved this: "I think Kelly and Ryan have broken up (or maybe they are getting married, I’m not sure)and Creed says it’s time for him to go underground again (whatever that means)."

SO on target and hilarious.

And then there's the lovely emotional aspect of this chapter. The "unknown_user" email slays me, but I know you're setting me up for something big, and I can't wait for the big finale. I'm thinking fireworks, Sinatra, champagne, a kiss in the rain, and Fancy New Beesly in a fancy new dress. Actually, I think I just described ten different Audrey Hepburn movies, so you know what? I'll leave the genius storytelling to you, m'dear!

Can't wait for more!! --CH

ROCK ON, GodinthisChilis. I hold up my lighter (that is, I would if I had one, but using the cell phone instead is lame, so pretend there is a lighter) as I absorb the awesomeness of your writing. I'm loving these chapters, and I just can't wait for these two to close their laptops, take off their gloves, and do it all in person (not do it all, though that would be cool; I mean do it all as in say what they need to say, not do each other or...I'm saying a lot of things).

Keep it up, m'dear, and I'm already on tenterhooks for the next chapter!! -CH

I sat down tonight to study for a philosophy exam I have coming up on Monday. I have all my notes spread out, books and highlighters in hand, but I remembered I need to send an email to my mom. I open the internet and the MTT recent page opens, too (it's one of my homepages). And BOOM, there you are with a new chapter, and BOOM, there go my notes to the side as I lean forward to devour every word on the page. Twice.

SO good! I love the tension you've maintained throughout this story, and your handling of the characters is so thoughtful and delicate. You really have a lot to be proud of here, and I know we're all on the edges of our seats, still leaning forward, waiting to see what happens next! -CH

Wow.

I already semi-reviewed this on the message boards, but nothing's official until it's official. You did such a wonderful job with this story; I'm ever impressed by your righting. "How Long" was a revelation (I still haven't forgotten that incredible slap or the beautiful imagery of that roof scene), but this was a masterpiece. I loved every word of this story, and I'm already excited for your next story.

For the last time, I say "bravo,: but I'm sure that word will be echoed by hundreds of other readers each time you post a story or chapter on this site. -CH

I have to say that I LOVED this! I love most Kelly-focused stories, and when they've captured the characters perfectly (as you have), then win-win! I particularly loved this line: "Just because you can appreciate looking nice, doesn't mean you're shallow. Look at Princess Di." That's the Kelly-logic I love.

And yes, I am listening to that song now on my ipod ("Did they have brains or knowledge? Don't make me laugh! They were POPULAR!") because I'm seeing the play again on Sunday!

Well done, well done! I loved it! -CH

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked this, and I'm so jealous you're seeing to show on Sunday. I saw it on Broadway, and it was something I'll never forget!

1. Wikipedia is like dropping an A-bomb of knowledge on someone.

2. How do I feel about this party? Do you mean the part where Kwanzaa is forced upon the virtue of the birth of baby Jesus? or the part where Pam makes it into a stripper-nightclub whore party?

3. I’m not trying to romance Oscar, Jim.

These three lines alone automatically make this funnier than "Dunder Mifflin Infinity" and "Launch Party" in my book! I usually stray away from script-format stories, but this is absolutely fabulous and oh-so in character!! I can't wait for more!! --CH

Author's Response: First let me say that I\'m a big fan of yours Becky215! So with that out of the way....\r\n\r\nI\'m glad that you liked those lines, and it\'s funny but I actually usually stay away from script-format stories as well. I like to delve into the thoughts and feelings of the characters (see my 50,000 opus \'Devil and Angel\' for further proof) but when I thought of this idea, I just saw it as an episode. So, I decided to write it that way. I\'m glad that you gave it a chance, and that you thought it was funny. Thanks for the review Becky215.

Okay, dundiefromgod, here's my challenge for you (should you choose to accept it). From now until this godforsaken WGA strike ends, you are to write a script for "The Office" and post it on MTT promptly at 9:00 on Thursdays, because your writing is the best example I've found thus far that captures the humor, wit, and emotion behind our favorite show. I laughed aloud so many times in reading this story, and it makes me hope against hopes that you're actually Justin Spitzer and you posted this, the real 2007 Xmas episode script, just for us since you knew the strike might keep it from airing.

But you know what, even if you're not Mr. Spitzer, you are twelve kinds of awesome in your own right. I got goosebumps on the rooftop scene, the tag was pure gold, and this made my day: "I celebrate Kwanzaa every year [beat] it’s my way of sticking it to Whitey. He controls everything, music, auto repair, soup, Mexico [beat] everything. So that’s why every Kwanzaa I make love to a beautiful African goddess named Lisa."

Bravo, bravo! I can't wait to read more of your work in the future! -CH

Author's Response: Wow, what a nice review. I have to say that I am not Justin Spitzer, no matter how much I want to be. As for your challenge, all I can say is that if I had the time, I absolutely would. This was the first time I wrote a script-based fic and I enjoyed it a lot, and hope to do another one in the future. Thank you very much Becky215, for your kind words and review, I've read everything you've posted here on MTT, so it means a lot.

shootingstars--For some unknown, never-to-be-discovered reason, I'm a horrible person who hasn't been following along with this story as you've been posting chapters. After reading this, I can only say that I don't know WHAT is the matter with me! I just read the story in its entirety, and it was simply wonderful. This last chapter in particular is like poetry, and you've really got a lot to be proud of here. I can't wait to see what you'll come up with next!!  --Best, CH
