Ack! Cliff-hangers make me hate you and love you all at the same time. This chapter was awesome and incredible, so for a minute there I considered calling it awesomedible, but then that sounded a little too um... edible. Anyway, sorry for the random ramblings. Can't wait for the next chapter!!! :)

Honestly, the cliff hanger wasn't contrived or an attempt to be obnoxious; it's just honestly where I hit a wall in writing. Heh. 

And for the record, I think "awesomedible" is a lovely, exemplary adjective.  :o)

Awesome chapter as always! I loved the major FNB moment. And I really like the way you write Jim and Jonathan together. Their relationship seems very true to life. And this is coming from someone with a lot of siblings, so good job with that! ;)

Author's Response: Thanks, I really appreciate it. This chapter is the little idea that started this whole thing. When I was watcching the rerun of the Initiation, I thought about what would happen if Ryan had asked Jim to accompany him on a sales call. And then I started pondering their whole interaction...and I apparently couldn't just stop there. :)

Oh larry, this was awesome! Here are all the things I didn't say in my live review. I loved that little Toby and Sam moment, where Sam thinks he's not worthy. It was so in character. And Kelly's press conference was completely awesome! Of course she'd spend the whole time talking about Brad/Angelina! Also, I'm really curious about the Pam/Josh history! Was not expecting that. Anyway, thanks again for a great story/chapter! ;)

Awesome! I loved their banter and the way they talked around a lot of issues without talking about the actual issues. That seemed very "them" to me. This was a really fun version of their first date!

Whoa. That was awesome! I love the call-backs to Casino Night, and I really felt like you kept everyone in character even though they were so much younger. Great job!

Wow! This is gorgeous. I can't believe I missed this the first time around. I think I remember having it on my to-read list and then sort of forgetting about it so I'm really glad you posted it here and brought it to my attention again. It's such a beautiful story, and so true to life. I really hope this wouldn't happen for them, but at the same time I loved that it was so real. Nice job!

I really liked this! I'm so glad she surprised him because I could totally see FNB doing that. I really wish they'd talked then because I honestly think that if they'd had a few more phone conversations like the one in Initiation, that Jim never would've started dating Karen and we would've been spared all the S3 angst. Whatever though, they're dating now so I guess I should stop being bitter about it. But I still can't help but wish that something like this had happened instead.

No joke, I have three sisters and two of them are named Jennifer and Alison. Needless to say, I'm a little creeped out now. Aside from that, though, this was totally cute! :)

This is so, so, so, so, soooo good! I loved it! Are you sure you don't have a few more stories just sitting around in your google docs, waiting to be shared with the rest of us, because I think you'd better check just in case. ;)

Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much! :o) I actually have a half-finished story from about 6 or 8 months ago in Google Docs which I was actually going to work on today, and then I happened to find this one. I remember working on this like two months or so ago, and then I don't think I was happy with the angstiness of it at the time, so I didn't post it, and then I forgot about it. And then when I read it today, I really liked the way it ended. Anything less angsty in this situation would have been out of character for that point in their relationship.
