You paint such a pretty picture with your words awesomeblossom. This is my fav passage...
It’s blinding, sometimes, the force with which he loves her. But when she learns to unthread the light, she sees that it’s made of a million tiny things, infinite shining strands of love woven together, and it’s easier. Easier that way, taking it a piece at a time. Comforting, to know she’ll never run out of it.
Also, I love that you referenced a song from The Swell Season. I adore their music, it's more than brilliant as is your story.

After Goodbye Toby, Pam using the word 'perfect' about her relationship with Jim is not necessarily promising for the immediate future.

I look forward to every new installment of 'the treehouse' with great anticipation. You never disappoint. I was thinking you might take the story in this direction - life is never without some drama. You've written the exuberant passion of young love/ first love in a realistic way. I look forward to seeing how you handle Jim and Pam's relationship after this.
