Or you can pour hard apple cider into a glass and add a shot of Fireball to that. It's actually really good and the only way I drink Fireball.

Neither the Willett bourbon or the Lagavulin are drinks you'd knock back at the bar, they're the kind your pour, toast with, and then take a few sips of. At least that's how I do it.

I personally have two I use for special occasions. One is a Scotch, the other American bourbon. Lagavulin 16 is the Scotch and Willett Pot Still Reserve is the bourbon.

If you want to do shots, get something cheap. Fireball, Old Crow, or maybe Jim Beam come to mind. If you want a drink for special occasion, one you're going to savor.
