google docs worked!! thanks for the recommendation, because i wouldn't have thought to use that! let's just hope it stays fine once its posted lol

i was copy and pasting from the writing app on my pc! i added back in all the spacing, but when i previewed it it disappeared again. so idk what i can do /:

If using Word or Google Docs try pressing the little clipboard with the W which is paste from word and then pasting ur story there and hitting OK. That usual helps with spacing

HoneyB, not dumb at all! Once you’re in preview, you can edit in that text box manually. It’s kind of a pain, but I had the same issue and it worked for me.

dumb question about submitting : how do i keep it from formatting everything in one giant text block? i went through and added all my spacing back in, but it was just a block again in the preview!
