What works for me is to paste it in the main box, then click on the box with the “W” icon and paste it there too and somehow it keeps the formatting. Only works on a computer though, not from mobile.

DC—Usually, I do my final read through in the box, and manually do all of my italics and such there. Just a habit I’ve learned to pick up.

DC: that has been known to happen. If you go and edit your published story from your account and format using the tinyMCE toolbox and submit, does formatting still disappear?

Anyone else have an issue that their preview version of a story looks right, but when published certain formatting disappears (underlining, italicized words)?
