This killed me: Jim looks up and sees Candy now only in a hot-pink bra, which, thankfully, doesn't remind him of Pam at all. It horrifies him when he realizes it makes him think of Kelly.
I notice that this is the second time today that I've had to mention the same line that nqllisi did. I just thought I'd point that out even though I doubt anyone cares.

Gah, this would SO BE Jim's internal monologue with a Pam look-alike stripper. And of course Ryan and Kevin would be into it and Michael would be super awkward.
And the image of Jim at a strip club drinking alone at the bar and playing games in his head is so spot-on. And him trying to figure out what to call her in his head, and the uncertainty about the documentary. Really all of it felt so true to character. Loved this.

Oh, wow! This was just all kinds of wonderful. I can just picture the whole thing including Michael being so uncomfortable around the stripper and poor tortured Jim envisioning first Pam (ouch) and then Kelly (DOUBLE ouch!). And Ryan. Hee. Great job!

Ok first, the whole thing about big boobs and button down shirts and the gapping at the buttons? I know all too well about that. And just like that little detail, it seemed very realistic. Great job!

Hee! This is great -- most regular guys are pretty moritified by strippers -- the 'watching them around other guys' part of things, and the 'random hoochies' instead of someone you really want to see naked. And this is deliciously awkward. Just. Like. The. Show.

Ha! This is perfect. You capture something very "Jim" here- his complicity with the cameras but his discomfort with it all at the same time. My husband has described feeling this same way about strip clubs, too, so it seemed very realistic to me.

First, I agree - not way the resemblance to Pam is unintentional. This really captures how uncomfortable Jim would/will (?) be...the way you describe him in college plus his conflict over Pam plus how public it all is. Yikes. You made me feel even worse for Jim - and I mean that as a compliment!

I didn't see that promo, but that is one awesome possible scenario. So funny and embarrassing because you just know Michael is going to make it as awkward as can be and Jim will feel a bit trapped. That was just a great story.

Oh, I really loved this. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that the stripper in the promo looked just like Pam! I could really see the bachelor party going down like this. Just toally weird and uncomfortable, because I'm sure the writers didn't make the stripper look like Pam for no reason.
Author's Response: Thank you for agreeing with me!! A bunch of people on the spoilers thread said they didn't think it was supposed to be Pam, but c'mon -- that's totally a Pam shirt. I'm almost 100% positive she's wearing a shirt Pam's worn before. And yes, strippers are kind of uncomfortable. Did you see Jim's posture? Ha, I can't wait to actually see it for real.
